All reviews for Formed Space Construction

Recently I had the pleasure of working with formed space on a brewery at the kimball arts Center - Kimball & the 606. Ørkenoy is the name of this treasure. Despite a limited budget, the contractor led by Architect turned contractor, Conrad, was able to pull together the design by range Architects & the condensed construction schedule. Before you knew it a custom concrete countertop was glistening in the sun as seen through some beautiful large format Lacantina Doors. The submittal process, the shop drawing review, the coordination… All of it flawless. I would highly recommend this professional outfit.

Even more recently (2026) we worked with designers and Formed Space on a new restaurant in Berwyn, IL.

Very professional and awesome company!

Excellent professionals. Unbelievably easy to work with on this competitive market.
Very satisfied and hoping to work with in nearest future.

Fast response times. Easy to talk to. Intelligent. They will work with you from the first step of design, pull purmits, to the final touches of building and finishing painted edges.

Very responsive and does incredible work. With any type of construction all you can hope for is professionalism and getting the outcome your hoping for and they not only meet that but exceed it.

Amazing team of contractors and builders who truly care about design, budget and details. Highly recommend!

Completed an average sized construction project with Formed Space recently, very please with their work. Conrad has a great growing team that is professional and easy to communicate with.

I can't say enough great things about Formed Space - Conrad kept clear communication about every step of the build out process, making suggestions when needed and working accurately with everything from budgeting to execution. This is the company I will use for any construction needs in the future.

They are an amazing company and they do an exceptional job! They are so professional and respectful, stayed within the budget and keep you informed throughout the construction project. Conrad was my person. He is very thorough, pleasant and knowledgeable. This guys are the best!
I highly recommended!!!!

Great experience working with Conrad and the team on my complete home renovation project. Very professional, organized and communicative process from start to finish. They made sure everything was completed to perfection and I’m very happy with the result. My first choice for any project in the future!

We highly recommend! My wife and I had a very positive experience working with Formed Space on our commercial to residential multi-unit build out. Conrad and his crew are professional, honest, and always responsive. Formed Space shared the vision of preserving our building’s unique turn of the century industrial characteristics and worked hard to preserve yet modernize the space into an inviting, beautifuly functional apartment building. We are proud of the product we created and look forward to working with Formed Space again.

We have been working with Conrad and his team Formed Space for a few years now. Conrad is one of the smartest and up and coming contractors in the Chicagoland area. He provides the best craftsmanship when it comes to the finishing product. His team is quick, efficient, and responsive! When it comes to any project's Formed Space is the best in the business! Good job guys!!!!

We interviewed several contractors for the renovation of our condo building lobby. Formed Space was by far the clear winner based on his prior work, architectural background and can do approach. Conrad and his team were so easy to work with, kept us fully updated on progress of the project and provided solutions when the inevitable construction hiccups occurred. They have an A list of craftsmen who all worked together seamlessly. Given the project took place in a high traffic area, they took the time to leave a clean space at the end of each days work. I would not hesitate to use them for other projects or recommend them.

As an architect, I have worked with many GCs and Formed Space is, without question, the best group I have worked with. When I renovated my own home, I knew I wanted to hire them, and they did a fantastic job. Conrad and his team are experienced, thorough,
and conscientious.

Conrad & Company were fantastic to work with for our gym they built out in Lincoln Park (TRAIN Moment). This was the 5th major build out I've done and I've been looking for the right crew to keep working with - and Formed Space is it. They are responsive and they truly care about their craft and the final result.

Update: 2 year after the fact they are still responsive when I have questions about my build! They are awesome.

I'll recommend these guys to anyone.

Formed Space was great to work with. There was always good communication throughout the project and the overall result matched exactly like the initial design. Owner Conrad was very attentive and always reaching out if any questions came up. The Ofrenda Group is really appreciative of the hard work and attention to detail of the overall construction. We will definitely recommend Formed Space in the future.
