Very high quality work. My project included custom tiling and it looks amazing. The team was tidy throughout construction, hauling away trash in a timely manner. Definitely recommend.

Michael was easy to work with and had great suggestions when I was unsure of how I wanted something to work. He and his team completed a gut renovation in my bathroom and kitchen, had built in seating, new doors and wood floor repair. His teams' craftsmanship is excellent.

We worked with Mike on our bathrooms. His crew were incredibly detailed oriented, focused on details, and were incredibly skilled craftsman. They made sure that our updated bathrooms looked beautiful and they went out of their way to make the process as stress-free for us as possible. Their experience showed in the work the did and the decisions they guided us through. I would recommend the Kolin Group to anyone looking for A+ work in their home.

We used Kolin Group for our kitchen remodel and everything turned out great. The project was finished on time and on budget. Their attention to detail was excellent. Would definitely use them again for our next project.

As a designer it's super important to work with great people. Kolin Group is very reliable, very clean, extremely knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. Our go-to contractor always!

Amazing experience working with Mike, Pedro, Victor and his whole team! Could not recommend them more. My master bedroom, closet and bathroom remodel look beautiful! After dealing with unprofessional contractors in the past working with Kolin Group was great from start to finish.

Just a few of the many positive attributes of Michael and Kolin Group: excellent expertise, quality, patience with questions, efficiency, responsible, cleanliness, trustworthy, flexible, timeliness, reliable…. successful and beautiful project!

The Kolin Group is the best! They completely remodeled my 820 sq ft River North Condo with a commitment to excellent customer service, quality workmanship, and superb craftsmanship in providing innovative custom solutions. My condo now has a completely remodeled bathroom, a completely remodeled kitchen that included relocating plumbing for the sink in the new peninsula, new doors, electrical outlets/switches, flooring, and light fixtures throughout, two newly added storage closets, soundproofing added to a shared wall, the popcorn ceiling removed throughout, and every wall and ceiling painted. I enthusiastically endorse the Kolin Group and grant them permission to provide my contact information to prospective customers. Thank you Kolin Group.

I cannot say enough good things about the Kolin Group. Mike and his team were efficient, responsive, respectful, clean and they do absolutely beautiful work! Mike is a wonderful communicator and always makes sure everything is done right. We couldn’t be happier with the job they did in our bathroom remodel.
Thank you Kolin Group!

Mike and his team like always have done exceptional work. On time, courteous and quality work!

Where do I begin?! The Kolin Group took a vision I had for my condo renovation and brought it to life! The quality and craftsmanship is unparalleled as well as the customer service/communication. I will never work with another contractor in Chicago as long as Kolin Group is around.

Michael is a true professional who is both extremely knowledgeable, resourceful, and makes a potentially stressful situation seem easy. Solution-oriented with quality work. And his team - fantastic!! Respectful of one’s home with incredible attention to detail. Would hire again without question

I am almost done with a complete rehab of my condominium using the Kolin group. My condominium is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for someone to coordinate your entire job and produce high quality work, I highly recommend the Kolin group. Bathrooms are extremely important as you want to create a Spa experience. The tile work that was done in both of my bathrooms is some of the best I have seen and I have done three prior rehabs. Just excellent work. Mike has been just wonderful to work with, professional, responsive, always willing to listen and address any issues I have had. I could send Mike a text on Sunday, in the evening, whenever, and he would respond. I have heard so many bad things about contractors and I feel grateful to have worked with Mike and the Kolin group. Rehabs are always difficult and Mike did everything possible to make the experience as stress-free as possible. One last thing I would like to mention is that I have come to know Mike as a trustworthy honest person. I was traveling quite a bit when my rehab was going on, so for the most part I was not present. I trusted that Mike would get the job done and he did, thus earning my respect and trust.

Thanks to their professional support, my home feels completely refreshed. From reselecting the design to the final completion, the team was incredibly attentive and professional throughout the entire process, making everything smooth, efficient, and stress-free!

Had a fantastic experience working with Kolin Group on my apartment remodel. They were professional, detail-oriented, and delivered high-quality work on time. From kitchen upgrades to bathroom finishes, everything was done with care and precision. Highly recommend if you’re looking to transform your space!

Highly recommended. Mike and his team of cabinet, tile, plumbing and electrical experts did a great job renovating our kitchen and two bathrooms in our 100 year old home.

The team handled navigating Evanston permits and inspections well; all of which were approved immediately.

Kolin Group does high quality work, cleaned up daily, removed debris and minimized dust/disruption. The team was courteous and quiet.

Mike communicated frequently, listened to and addressed all concerns and made sure we were happy with the outcome.

Mike and his team did a wonderful job on our kitchen renovation. He was very attentive to our needs, provided accurate estimates, and provided efficient high quality work at an amazing value. Mike answered all of our questions timely and helped us make decisions several times. He and his team are true professionals that I would recommend to anyone that is looking to have work done in their home.

Amazingly beautiful job with every single aspect: floor installation, cabinets choice and installation, electrical, plumbing, painting, quartz choice and installation, lots of other details that are perfectly executed. I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend Michael Kolin… the most professional, trustworthy, reliable contractor… the BEST.

Had an amazing experience w Mike and his team refurbishing my master bathroom and second bathroom - have never experienced clean during construction, but Mike and his team were so considerate of the fact we were living in during the refurbishment - timing was as Mike projected, as was cost and the workmanship speaks for itself in the photos! Pile be happy to have the team back for my next project!

I have hired Kolin Group on 5 occasions - 4 times to renovate rental condos that we prepped so they could be put on the market (all units sold in under 2 months, and one getting an offer within 48 hours of listing), and then I hired him to do some renovations on our home of 20 years to prepare it to go to market. Michael and his team are reliable, on time and on budget, and do great work. He is also super helpful in making recommendations during the remodel to keep you on budget, and has assisted me regularly with purchasing and installing the tile or fixtures needed. He works well with the condo management office and his clients. I am pleased to recommend him to friends and colleagues. You won't regret your decision to hire Kolin Group.

We've worked with Mike and Kolin Group on multiple client projects and have consistently been impressed with their work. Mike is an excellent communicator, highly collaborative, and consistently manages timelines with professionalism. His team is reliable, solutions-oriented, and a true pleasure to work with. We look forward to continuing our partnership on future projects and highly recommend Kolin Group to anyone seeking a skilled contractor team.
