Brian and his crew are amazing! My condo association hired Cityscape two years ago for our monthly maintenance and landscaping needs and we have used them ever since. There is a definite shortage of providers in the Chicago area that perform this type of service reliably. Annually, they update our mulch, have rearranged shrubs and even planted a beautiful river birch tree as part of our overall landscaping plan. The crew that comes each month is friendly, respectful and clean. I would STRONGLY recommend Cityscape to private owners and associations alike.

We recently used Cityscape for a landscaping project and they did a fantastic job! We got a late start in the Spring in our search for a landscaper. However, Ryan at Cityscape, was extremely responsive and was able to fit us into what I am sure was an extremely busy season. Our yard looks fantastic! In fact, we get random comments from people walking down the street about how nice our yard looks!! As part of our project, we also had a small brick wall built around our tree with plants and shrubs installed and they did a great job on it, too. I can't say enough positive things about their outstanding service and I have recommended them to several of our neighbors.

We had a wonderful experience with Cityscape and look forward to using them for our next project. The entire team was professional, punctual, and hardworking. We love our new front yard landscaping, and we could not have done this on our own! You will not regret using them.

Updating my review, Cityscape continues to do a great job! They did some touch up work on our yard this year and it looks great. Sometimes it can take a few calls to get in touch with them but I wouldn't want anyone else working on our yard.

Cityscape was great. Ed was extremely knowledgeable and helped me select all of the trees plants and shrubs to landscape our back yard. They came in on budget and on time, a rare occurrence when working on big projects.

We had a few drainage issues we noticed the following week and they sent guys out right away to fix them at no charge.

I would absolutely use them again.

I had an amazing experience working with James and Cityscape. Before I found Cityscape, I had other firms/contractors out to give me an estimate for a new garage roof deck. The other firms either didn't return my call or failed to send me an estimate. James and Cityscape were out to my house almost immediately after I contacted them, gave me an estimate, then started work soon after. They did an excellent job explaining every aspect of the project. The work was exceptional tearing down our basic garage roof deck and installing a new Ipe deck and pergola. This is truly a first class organization. I will certainly use them again for other projects and will recommend them to anyone!!

So happy with our new patio! Alex and the team at Cityscape are great. They responded quickly to my request for a project estimate even during the busy season, were punctual for all appointments, and they finished on schedule and on budget. They came back very quickly to address a couple minor issues post-installation. Great crew and I’d definitely recommend!

We selected Cityscape after meeting with 3 other landscaping companies and we could not have been more pleased. They were on time, courteous, efficient, clean and the project was just perfect. Changes were made during and after with absolutely no issue. We will use them again in the spring to add more plants to our backyard they were so great!

Anyone who needs to have landscaping work done needs to call Cityscape Landscape!!! My neighbors and I just moved into a new development and our courtyard and front yard were an absolute disaster before Cityscape came in. We worked with Ryan Hall who was beyond amazing.

Between our 5 units, we have 7 big dogs that live in our building so we needed a landscape design that was functional, durable and nice to look. Ryan and his team absolutely exceeded our expectations! They used heavy-duty synthetic dog friendly grass (that might I add looks very real) and merged it with a contemporary landscape design using native plants. They turned our courtyard, which was a mud pit, into an urban oasis.

Not only was the landscaping beautiful, functional and dog friendly, but I can't say enough about the service. Ryan was extremely attentive and was so easy to work with. His team was ALWAYS on time and extremely professional. The work was completed on time and within budget and my neighbors and I couldn't be happier with the results!

They are by the far the best landscape company in the city! Thanks Cityscape (and Ryan) for the amazing job you did! We love our new courtyard!!!

We've been using Cityscape Landscape services 3 times since 2010. They have been wonderful each time. We live in a townhome association and several of our neighbors are now regularly using this company, because they all have had the same very positive experience with Kevin and Brian Coogan.

In 2010, they paved an area of our backyard. It was our first time working with them but they had been referred by some friends who had known them for a while. They were super professional, I loved that they sent us precise estimates by email, and their staff was great. Our neighbors did the same job in their backyard with Cityscape and were equally happy. When we needed some more paving work for our front yard in 2011 and 2012, I called Kevin and again got a great experience. I did get another vendor's estimate (both times) to make sure Cityscape was competitive, and they were.

I loved that every time we hired them for a project, we didn't have to wait 5 or 6 weeks to get the job done: as soon as we accepted the estimate, the work got scheduled for the next week! Kevin and Brian are precise, professional and pleasant, and the guys who work for them are experienced hard workers. I recommend Cityscape to all my friends for paving work!

City Landscape did a great job for us. Ed was very professional, with suggestions and solutions to our project of re-landscaping the front of our house in Morton Grove. The work crew was hard-working and pleasant. The finished project was beyond our expectations. We would recommend them without question.

After much research I chose Cityscape to build a patio in my small backyard. I worked with Brian Coogan, who was knowledgeable and efficient while helping me choose the best materials for my project. The project was completed in a few days during the second week of June. The workers were polite, hardworking and completed the work on time. When I had trouble with the initial sod installation surrounding my patio, Brian had workers return to replace it. I am very happy with my results, as my yard is the envy of my neighbors. The pricing was reasonable, and they will work with you to stay within your budget. I would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to hire Cityscape again.

We're so grateful to Cityscape for all of their work on our front yard 2 years ago. They recommended fake grass (which we were not excited about initially), which turned out great -- and they were absolutely right that real grass would have died (we're too shaded). Also, the brick path along the side of our house is beautiful. We were so happy with the outdoor renovation and wish we contacted them sooner!

The Cityscape team were fantastic. I had no vision for the front yard and the team came out and designed a beautiful landscape sketch (very quickly, too!), recommended low-maintenance plants that worked in my yard, perfectly measured, all within the budget I gave them. They were SO easy super fast and responsive to work with. When it was time to do the yard, they showed up on time, finished the job quickly and the end result was just beautiful and even went the extra mile to help move some heavy slate stones for me and made them look beautiful! Excellent experience and highly recommend!

We had Cityscape out last November to help winterize our yard and install some river rock along the side of our house. Ed came out and explained everything very thoroughly and the work was able to be performed very quickly without us needing to be home.

We were very happy with the entire Cityscape experience and would certainly recommend them and use them for future landscaping needs.

We had a great experience working with Ed and the whole Cityscape crew! Our small backyard was overgrown and flooded every time it rained. Ed came up with the perfect plan to overhaul the layout plus add a new drainage system. We haven't had any water issues since and the yard looks amazing a year later. Would highly recommend!

Ed and his team were a pleasure to work with throughout our project. They provided great input into the planning process, worked with our schedule and executed the job to perfection. We'd use them again in a heartbeat.

The gentlemen that own and run this business are very professional, and their landscapers are true experts. I worked with Jon, and he was incredible -- thorough, thoughtful, patient, and a perfectionist. We had an issue with some of the artificial turf, and they have been diligent and patient in trying to resolve it with me. I would recommend their work (and their work ethic!) to anyone. First class.

Ed’s team was patient as we sorted through dimensions, and once we were on the schedule, they delivered nicely. Staff was courteous and worked diligently to complete within about 5 days. Before and after pics included.

I've been using City Landscaping for the last few years to take care of my 2 terraces. They are good value for City of Chicago landscapers. Clean, courtesy and responsive. I love the summer oasis they created for me! Highly recommend

Was very pleased with Cityscape landscape. I worked with Ed, and he was very responsive, transparent and fair with pricing, and showed a genuine interest and care in producing a great product. The pictures speak for themselves. He was able to take my vision for my property and make it a reality. I can’t wait to work with them again on a future landscaping project.
