I could not have imagined working with a better company. We worked with Bryan and Doug on our project, who were meticulous with every detail and plan moving forward. Once we broke ground we were 'rocking and rolling' every day with well-planned coordination without a day missed for human error (even they can't control the weather). After our project completed, they continued to respond quickly to needs when a particular tree needed attention/replacement. While Green Grass is a large scale operation, I truly felt like their only customer with the level of attention. Highly recommend.

Came to Green Grass to help solve both functional and aesthetic problems. Functionally, our yard takes on a lot of water and we needed a solution to help mitigate this. Aesthetically, we wanted to wipe out what was there and start fresh with a new design. Jeff and his team delivered on all fronts. We worked very collaboratively on the design and the GG team delivered on everything as promised. Functionally, they have done a great job providing solutions to keep our yard from becoming a swamp every time it rains. Most important to me, when there were changes or tweaks to make, even after the installation, they never left and saw it through to make sure we were happy with the final product. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, easy to work with and invested substantial amount of time creating a beautiful backyard patio combined with shrubs and trees based on our feedback as well as the most cost effective water drainage solutions to properly manage the abundance of water on our property. He worked with us through various revisions, recommending colorful plant combinations and was aware of various city codes and permit process so the job was done right. He made sure the project was finished with our complete satisfaction in mind from start to finish. Jeff Johnson has earned our trust as our “go-to” for all our landscaping needs and we would highly encourage anyone to put him in your consideration set for any landscaping project you might have. Green Grass did an excellent job in designing and installing our new patio. They were responsive to our needs and professional throughout the process. Our rep Todd Dickey did a bang up job designing our landscaping, bringing it on budget and with high quality.

Green Grass transformed our yard space from a mud pile that was sliding into our neighbors yard, to a beautiful and functional space. We were impressed by the professionalism of the landscape architect Jeff, the project manager Patrick and their crews. The bid we received was competitive with the other vendors that we spoke with. This company stood out with their thoroughness on the plans and detailed proposal as well as their knowledge of village code. Multiple sections were completed (100 ft brick retaining wall, pavers patio and fire pit area, and fencing). They were patient with our many questions, as well as flexible when we changed scope several times. We highly recommend Green Grass and look forward to working with them in the future.

We had Green Grass do major work in our back yard. It was originally a giant concrete disaster. They were able to remove all of the concrete and install sod, plants/landscaping and a patio/pavers in just three days of work. The men doing the work were fantastic. They paid attention to every detail and left my property so clean even with all of the concrete demolition. Our designer, Todd, was wonderful too. He responded quickly to emails and answered questions thoroughly. Todd worked with us to create a beautiful and practical design that fit our property and lifestyle. He even ordered a new plant when one didn't handle the July heat despite watering. We are so glad we invested in our property with Green Grass and highly recommend their landscaping services!

Green Grass has been our friend and ally in many ways and across several projects: from storm sewer and drainage as well as landscaping across two summers. They have always gone above and beyond with impeccable communication and service from small to large scale projects. They have taken our new build and created a gorgeous landscape of mulch, pavers, retaining walls, bushes, trees and flowers. I have worked with Green Grass for 3 projects so far and another coming up. Specifically I have worked with Todd for all of the designs. He has been responsive, creative and has worked with me with options to stay in budget. The crew has been exceptional each time also. Everyone has been pleasant, attentive to details and have gotten the job done fast! We completely regraded our front yard, which is on a hill. It was sloped wrong and they made sure the pitch was away from the house and added in new drainage. No more water in our basement! We did all new landscaping in the front and it’s absolutely beautiful. Everything has held up over the last two winters and has bloomed beautifully! We also did a patio and walkway in our backyard. Again we had some leveling issues which the guys perfected. The stone work is beautiful and beyond what we expected. I cannot recommend Green Grass enough.

I recently called Dan with what I thought was a "landscaping emergency". Dan assured me that there was no problem here, and they came right out and fixed everything, beautifully.
Dan has worked with me on several projects and I count him as a wonderful gift.
