We have worked with J&R Herra for a few years. Their customer service when you call is always kind and helpful. We recently had their technician Michael L out and he was fantastic! Issues with heating, cooling & plumbing are never fun but having a great team to tackle the issues that will pop up is very reassuring.

This is exactly why we live in a quaint town like Elburn. Today we had an appointment with Jeff, for a city of Batavia inspection at our office that we didn’t really understand if we needed it or not but after receiving a letter saying we needed it we scheduled to be safe. The process from start to finish was one of the best experiences, I’ve ever had with any business, in any industry, EVER. From the ease of scheduling, to the promptness of all of their communication, to being punctual (in fact early), just to come out to find out we don’t even need the inspection after all. They then offered to call the city to give them the update and to help us explain our situation. I truly can not be happier with every piece of this transaction and will be using them for any and all services because I can not say thank you enough for everything!

Our furnace went out on Friday evening late. We made plans to have Mark come for the repair on Saturday. He was excellent. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and took his time to ensure the furnace was repaired and working properly. We are happy with the service and will use them again for our repair needs. Alan

After purchasing our home in May we knew we were end up needing a new furnace… what we didn’t expect that it would be 5 months later. I called and received 4 quotes on the best option. When they came in to evaluate our current equipment, they were very professional, did not oversell us (thank you!) and super knowledgeable. Installation day came and they were super respectful of our home and so sweet. He said it would take 6-8 hours and he was right on point.

Called J&R Herra to fix my Trane furnace today. The technician, Brian P, arrived the same day by noon and had me up and running in no time! He also saved me money on the visit through their annual service plan which basically pays for itself plus it gives you peace of mind that your AC and Heating systems will always be working properly. J&R Herra is my new GO TO HVAC company!

Same day service of thermostat on the first cold day of the season. Polite service provider, text updates on his way, and quote to install a better thermostat with no pressure.

J&R Herra did an amazing job installing new ductwork in our house! The company had came recommended by a trusted neighbor. John came by and really took his time in designing a plan and explaining it all. The finished work is well done and I find myself coming home from work and literally just admiring the shiny new ducts Chris and his team put up for us. On top of the quality work, I must say that that they also did it at a very good price. We had one minor issue which was promptly addressed and I mention this not as a negative but rather a huge positive. I believe strongly that everyone is entitled to make mistakes, we’re only human! And that it’s not if a company makes a mistake, it’s how they deal with it which truly matters. John and his team did exactly that. I can easily recommend them and I will 100% be returning to J&R Herra for future plumbing and HVAC needs.

Vince did an excellent job in an emergency situation! He kept in contact to make sure we still needed service and to let us know he was on his way. He was very knowledgeable and was able to fix the problem right then and there! We are very happy with his work! We will consider future projects/repairs with this company!

Joey D and team were professional, answered all of my questions, worked at a good non-rushed speed to perform a top notch installation. Additionally, I appreciate that the installers aimed to make the sheet metal, and pipe angles as streamlined as possible. My request of relocating the April Air Humidifier was implemented effectively. More space was gained for how the April Air Humidifier was installed. A great walk-through training on the Ecobee Smart Thermostat was also provided. J&R Herra is providing an excellent service to customers with the work I observed today at my home.

Ben is very patient and pleasant with our continuing iboiler issues! But perhaps more importantly, he knows what he's doing!! 😊 We have had a number of other people try to tackle our issues and he is the only one who has succeeded! We are so happy to have him available to us!
