Had a busted storm drain line running under the driveway that kept flooding our garage every spring. Anchor came out and pinpointed exactly where the collapse was without tearing up more concrete than they needed to. Drainage hasn't been an issue since and that was like two full rainy seasons ago now.

So our old concrete patio had basically sunk about four inches on one side because the ground underneath was never compacted right when the house was built, or at least that's what the Anchor crew told us. They tore the whole slab out, re-graded and compacted the soil properly, and prepped it so our concrete contractor could come back and pour fresh. The part that stuck with me was how precise they were with the grade - they had a laser level out there and kept checking it. Patio has been level for a year now which is kind of the whole point.

Our general contractor recommended Anchor, and they came for the estimate pretty fast. Gave us a realistic picture of the timeline which I appreciated since this was a bigger dig than we'd dealt with before. Excavation started on schedule and they wrapped up right when they said they would. The crew seemed to know exactly what they were doing - no confusion, no wasted time sitting around. Glad we went with them.

So we had this old crumbling foundation wall in the basement that needed to come out before we could start a renovation. Got a few quotes and Anchor was somewhere in the middle price wise but they seemed like they actually understood the scope of what we were dealing with. Other companies kinda glossed over the details during the estimate but these guys asked real questions about access and what was above the wall structurally. That made me more confident with going with them. They started on a Monday morning and the demolition was part done by Tuesday afternoon. Hauled out a crazy amount of concrete and block, like multiple truck loads. Wednesday and Thursday they excavated along the exterior footing tp prep for the new waterproofing that another contractor was doing after them. The hole was dug to the right depth and they shored everything properly before leaving it open. Overall the timeline they gave us at the start was pretty much dead on which is rare in my experience with contractors.

got the estimate done fast, they came out within a couple days of me reaching out. compared a few options in Elmhurst before deciding. once we agreed on scope they had a crew out the following week. the excavation for our new patio footings went quick, maybe a day and a half total. no complaints about how things went start to finish
