We used Bernardins at both our business and home. We are 100% happy with everything from design to install. Cathy laid out an amazing design and followed it up with monitoring the install to make sure we were happy with what we got. I would personally recommend Bernardins for any landscape needs.

We had Bernardin’s Landscaping refresh our landscaping with new mulch, new plants and reseeding of worn out grass areas. They removed overgrown shrubs in our pool area and planted beautiful flowering shrubs. We were very satisfied with their work. Bert met with us and discussed all work to be done so we were on the same page so to speak. Loved their personal interest in providing what we wanted. Thank you Bernardins

Cheap service and has zero respect for great customers cash payers big money jobs I went on vacation during winter time clown show came to the house which half the job was shoveled and cleaned by my neighbor charged full price and still got paid find a better network Rick is a terrible business man , test company's for a reason he was tested and failed just like his cheap services

Absolutely horrible! The owner does not write anything down and then gets mad when he messes up the order. Waited days for a response from him, everything is on his own time. Had to threaten to get an attorney in order for him to get back to us. Did not know how to lay out the landscape we had to have them move a bunch of bushes and plants around when that is their job to do in the first place. Just very terrible I would never recommend them to anyone.

Terrible company I would give negative stars if possible

As others have posted here, he comes out to look, and takes the deposit then you cannot get him back. I think if I did not threaten calling the police he would never have come. well, it would have been better if he had not since he made a big mess, did not finish and then never came back.
I had to hire someone else to finish, it would be wise to search elsewhere, I can;t imagine why someone would hire this guy considering the reviews. It was a huge mistake and cost money for nothing

Very unprofessional and unethical landscaping company. The owner is anxious to get your business and once he gets your deposit it takes many calls to get him to come and do the work. Once he begins the work he rushes, does not complete it in the fashion that was discussed and never comes back to make the necessary adjustments. Additionally he misrepresents his talents as an expert when he is far from it. He cuts corners wherever he can to use materials that are less expensive than what was discussed when he was trying to get the business. A very costly experience to use this company as they are not the least expensive around but have been in business for a long time so one would think that they would take pride in their work and strive for quality. That is not the case at all.

I had my patio raised in certain areas. The area under the stoop was extremely low.. He raised other portions of the patio along with the stoop area. Two weeks later the area at the stoop dropped more than it was before he fixed it.. Also the sand that he put in has cracked and sunk throughout the patio. Rick the owner came back to look at the patio and did nothing to fix it. He told my husband to put more sand in the cracks.He also said that he would return the following week to fix the problems and never did. I called him numerous times and he never returned my call.
He comes off as very sincere,
But will not honor or take pride or ownership in his work. He had no problem taking my money.

Early last summer I reached out to Rick Bernardin to have some work done at our home. There were three tasks to be done.
1) Remove black plastic edging and replace with metal edging.
2) Plant small tree in front landscape.
3) Repair and seal paver patio in back yard.
Needless to say, every aspect of these three tasks were done poorly. Work completed was not worth the price we were charged.
1) Workers did not remove all the old black plastic edging. Old sections remain. Guess they just didn’t feel like doing the job correctly.
2) Tree not planted correctly or staked correctly. It was leaning when planted. Then they came back to re-stake it. Now it is leaning again. Tree looks ridiculous leaning forward.
3) Paver patio was not fixed correctly. Paver edging was never put back into correct place. Their “fix” was to simply fill in the area with sand. Paid to have the patio sealed, this spring we have weeds coming back between the pavers. Again, a very poor quality job.
Don’t waste your money. Find a better company.
