S&S was great! Fast, free estimate and they were hear the next day. Tree was down, stump was gone, and everything was cleaned up and hauled away. Friendly, professional service. I would highly recommend them for any job!

Highly recommend.

Super easy process from quote to job completion - excellent work and great people!

Great service, competitive price, and very safety conscious.

My experience with this crew has been nothing short of amazing. The entire process from quote to invoice was a breeze.

They showed up on time and were very professional. They took pride in the work they did and took extra precautions to not damage anything when removing our tree.

A business owned by real people who genuinely care about their work. Leaving a satisfied customer matters. Being proud of the job they did matters. If you have a tree problem and need help you can trust then give S&S a call!

The crew did a great job and left my property clean each day. I would highly recommend this company.

Promptly provided an estimate which was very reasonable so contracted for removal of 10 diseased fern trees used as a wind break. Crew did a excellent job with removal including grinding down the stumps. Clean up was excellent as was the attitude of the crew.

The crew showed up and removed our tree that was in a very tight spot between our house and garage. Their experience is top notch and I would recommend them 1000x over anyone else!

Responsive, Respectful, and Reasonable. Robert and his crew are great, no brainer for tree work.

I am so pleased with S&S tree service. Communication was clear. Work was done safely and with respect to our property. Neighbors immediately commented on how nice the finished product looked too!

Great communication and great work. Only took three days from first contact requesting estimate to finishing job. Communicated well and can’t even tell they were in my yard, except for the stump I requested not to grind. I will recommend to others needing tree service!

Robert and his crew is the BEST! They went above and beyond to see our facility was safe and clean when they finished! You will be totally pleased when they take care of your tree service needs!

Great team!! This is the 3rd time they have trimmed our trees. Their work is fantastic and they do a great job cleaning up the job site.

S&S Tree Service staff were great. I am happy they are local! I contacted them and they came out that same afternoon to get the job done. Reasonably priced for what I needed done. Will definetly contact them again for future tree service. They also do military and senior discounts, which I forgot to ask about. Oh well.

Service was prompt, fast, and flexible to complications that arose on the day. I had 4 trees trimmed and one tree removed. The trim came out great and met all my needs. The tree that was removed was in a tight spot near the house. They got it removed quickly and without any damage to the house.

Robert with S & S was very professional and communicated every step of the job, it was wonderful. They were reliable. They did a great job and they cleaned up everything. I would definitely recommend S & S.

I met Robert at the Chamber's Village Clean-Up Day in 2025, and appreciated his helping with that event to improve New Baden.

Then, early this year (2026), I reached out for him to remove a Sweetgum tree and to trim a few other trees. He and his crew took care of business in a timely manner over a few-day period, including grinding a stump. The work was done with no issues encountered; we would recommend S&S to others.

From the minute I call Robert was quick to respond with a call. He came out the same day and I received a estimate with in an hour. Price was good started work the next week. His staff was professional, well trained and very efficient. Everything Robert told me was done perfect. Tough removel of tree over pool was done excellent. Would highly recommend them and will use them in the future.
