Jovan was very efficient in his work. He installed 4 ceiling fans for me. The work is high quality. He asks questions about placement of controls and discusses the options with you. He will also provide expert opinion and consultation on other projects as well. His fees were in line with the quote he provided.

Jovan was very courteous and professional. Jovan clearly knew what he was doing, was efficient in his work, and charged a very competitive rate compared to other companies in the area. I called a few companies, all of which had very high service fees and could not arrive in a timely manner; then I found JTP electric. Jovan’s rate was very fair and he was able to schedule the appointment immediately. Jovan fixed the electrical issue I was having and guaranteed he would come back and fix it again for free if the same issue were to occur (guaranteed his work). It was a pleasure to work with Jovan and I will be using him for all of my future electrical needs.

JTP Electric was hired to install electrical outlets, install can lights, and repair electrical switches. Jovan at JTP Electric did a fantastic job, and I would highly recommend him and his services. I interviewed three contractors, and he was the only one who listened to my needs, did not try to upsell me on services I did not need, and played the role of an electrical advisor. He proactively provided advice and helped me solve my issues related to can lights and electrical outlets. He was timely, worked around my schedule, was courteous to me and my family, and left the work area clean. I highly recommend Jovan and JTP Electric.

I am in the process of adding an outlet for a battery back up sump pump. I was referred to JTP through a friend. Jovan promptly answered all my calls and texts and patiently explained the procedures and answered all my questions. He was able to provide me an estimate based on photos I took of my basement and was willing to travel way up here. He said I might save some money if I got someone closer.

Though I haven't hired him yet, I felt that my experience with him was worth writing a review.

I called Jovan last week regarding an electrical issue. He and his brother came today and took care of it. Their attention to details was evident and both were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They were willing to answer any electrical questions I had. Though I live beyond the area he normally services, Jovan appreciated that I was referred to him by a friend and wanted to accommodate me (I gave him extra money for gas, though he said it wasn't necessary.)

JTP Electric provided great service for my light fixture replacement. Jovan was professional and responsive through the process. He scheduled and completed my request very quickly, and the work looks great. Very easy to work with.

I became concerned when our 67yo home in Park Ridge utilized a Federal-Pacific breaker panel. I wanted to upgrade a 15A circuit to 20A to accommodate a new toaster oven. I could not find any new Federal-Pacific breakers on-line or locally. As I researched further I found that Federal-Pacific was no longer in business due in large part to lawsuits over their breakers failing to trip and causing electrical fires. So I felt a new breaker panel was an upgrade I wanted to pursue. I found JTP Electric via a neighbor who recently had emergency repairs performed by JTP. I subsequently hired JTP to upgrade my panel to a Square-D and I couldn't be more pleased with their work. A crew of 2 removed the old panel, installed the new panel with new wiring to the Com-Ed meter, reconfigured the conduits to fit the new panel and connected the new breakers all within 8 hours. In addition they brought the system up to code with a dedicated grounding run, and offered recommendations to swap out GFCI receptacles for straight duplex outlets to my sump pumps to avoid potential flooding issues due to a nuisance trip of the GFCI. You'll find Jovan to be personable, responsive, and courteous.

I called JTP Electric because I had a problem with my circuit breaker that controls my furnance. Jovan was able to come out the next day. He was very polite, professional, and prompt. He fixed the breaker, turned on the furnace and waited to make sure the breaker didn't trip again in case something was wrong with the breaker or my furnace. He explained different reasons why my breaker could have tripped. I also mentioned some other electrical problems I have and he will be coming out again to fixed them. Rates are reasonable and again service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Customer service is what it's all about. Jovan the owner contacted my Mother-in law in Morton Grove about an issue with her power panel. He showed and explained to her that it needed to be replaced since it was very old. Not only did he do a great job but he came back and painted around where he need to cut to fit in the the new power panel..he went the extra mile and when you had to talk with him he answered the phone or even when you left a voice mail he called you back in a reasonable amount of time. Jovan is small business and always found the time to explain what needed to be done and all with a smile and great prices! The art of customer service is what it is all about. Anyone can do electrical work but with JTP electric you get great customer service and knowledge all in one place!!

Jovan of JTP Electric Company arrived at our home and checked the work needed to be done in order to convert our gas oven into electric. However, he told us that the work will require to cut through walls and tiles and it will be costly. He recommended for us to search other stores for another gas oven. We did and we found one and it will be installed this Thursday.

We appreciate his honesty and integrity. He did not charge us for the consultation. We recommend his electrical company for any services that anyone might need. Thank you very much!

I called JTP based on the reviews + listing on Tesla's electrician page.
Jovan called back promptly to ask a few preliminary questions about what I needed. With the purchase of a Tesla vehicle, I needed a 240v installed in my garage.
We exchanged a few text messages and scheduled time for a visit to identify what needs to be done.
Jovan swung by and inspected the premise + agreed on a path to get from my basement/where the panel was located to the garage. We agreed on pricing (which I thought was reasonable).
Jovan dropped in as scheduled during the weekend with his team (brother and son). I have a finished basement so there was some cutting of dry wall required to access the path for the pipes + wiring. Overall, they did a great job, installed the 240v, tested it on his brothers Tesla Model Y as I'm a week away from my delivery. Satisfied with the pricing, workmanship, delivery. Will certainly recommend Jovan and use their services again.

We had a problem with our kitchen outlets and Jovan was able to diagnose the problem quickly and make sure the GFCI outlet and circuits where working properly and safely. Jovan was very knowledgeable and detailed explaining the problem and resolution to us. He came to our house the same day we called and arrived on time to our appointment, no extended "estimated" arrival times and on top of that he gave us a very fair price, better than other quotes we received. Finally! A knowledgeable, professional, attentive and honest electrician. Jovan solved a home wiring mystery. The previous
electrician I hired spent an hour and fifteen minutes troubleshooting without results and would have to come back. My bill was getting bigger. I found Jovan using Yelp. As we all do, I took a chance based on his reviews and contracted him.

He solved the wiring mystery in less than 20 seconds! I am not exaggerating. I have two witnesses. He solved it so fast he didn't know what to charge for the service if anything. Jovan and JTP Electricians were extremely responsive through the entire process. He was the fastest to provide an estimate and finished on budget. Jovan did the work perfectly. He also identified issues with some work the builder had done on my home and was willing to take care of it. We had Wi-Fi issues connecting the Tesla Wall Charger due to my low bandwidth in the garage. Jovan gave suggestions on what we could do to create more bandwidth at a low cost and came back out to help us finish the Wi-Fi connection on a later date.
