We've used Carl at RU Current for many electrical issues over the years. He's honest, punctual and reasonably priced. Nice guy, too!

Carl is a gem. Kind and professional, knows what he’s doing. Very fair pricing. Available quickly.

We had a list of items including addressing an issue we were having with an outlet, installing two outlets in the basement and replacing a ceiling fan (13ft ceiling). Carl showed up on time and was so easy to work with. He was incredibly knowledgeable, honest and fair. He got to work right away and did an excellent job for us. He will be my go to electrician from now on. I highly recommend him!

We had a few projects including swapping out all of our plugs and switches to decora, adding a couple of smart switches, running an additional coax for the TV and adding an additional outlet. Carl was great to work with! We highly recommend him for all your electrical needs.

Carl was great, friendly and informative. I had Carl split some circuits in my fuse box. So I would stop blowing the circuit, reducing the load per each circuit. Thanks for your help Carl.

Carl was quick to respond and send pricing. Very easy to work with. He did some repairs for electrical outlets near our ponds required prior to selling our home. All around a pleasure to work with.

The is the 2nd time we have called Are U Current? to help with our electric needs. The 1st time was to install a ceiling fan. This most recent time was to install GCFI outlets/ new switches in our kitchen, adjust outlets in our family room, & install two new closet lights. Carl is knowledgeable in his craft, his work is high quality, and his prices are quite reasonable. He is also a genuinely kind individual. We highly recommend his services.

I have now used RU Current for 5 different projects. We are thrilled with the work Carl has done. On time, courteous, friendly and professional . We will continue to use RU Current for all our electrical needs.

Carl Dejohnette was super friendly and came out super late to help diagnose and mitigate our partial house outage which ended up being due to earlier construction. Grateful for the quick emergency service and diagnosis of the problem!

Carl is a highly skilled electrician and a wonderful and trustworthy person.

I consider Carl my personal electrician, my go to person for all of my electrical needs. He installed a ceiling fan and an exterior light for me years ago. When one of my light switches wasn’t working, his was the first number I looked for. He fixed the switch and installed beautiful led lighting in my vaulted ceiling and in my backyard. He’s the best!

Carl fixed a number of problems I had with my lights, outlets and switches. He made sure to explain what his plan was every step of the way. Super easy to talk with and very fair with pricing. I highly recommend Carl for all things electrical!

Carl was really professional and pinpointed the problem right away. His prices are fair and he is such a great guy to work with. I have another project to upgrade my electrical system in my garage for EV charging. It’s much better to work with independently owned businesses and I will definitely contact Carl again.

Carl was very professional and easy to work with. Half of my lights and outlets didn’t work in my master bedroom and he was able to diagnose the problem and fix it very quickly. He is a super nice guy, very reasonable, and I will be calling him for all of my electrical needs in the future. If I could give him 6 stars, I would.

I have had RU Current do a handful of jobs in my home over the past few years. Carl is great, and has made installed everything we needed and made recommendations each time he was on the job. Great pricing and is always a pleasure to have in our home. Will call again for any future electrical needs and I highly recommend.

Carl provided fast and friendly service! He has completed several projects at my house, always top notch. Thank you for the work you do.

I recently hired RU Current Electrical for a full upgrade of my home's lighting and an electrical panel update. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Carl advised on energy-efficient lighting to cut down my electricity bills and offered a fair price for the electrical panel work, completing everything as promised. His dedication to customer service is outstanding; he's not only friendly and professional but also truly puts customer needs first. I'm looking forward to having Carl and the RU Current team back for my outdoor lighting and security camera upgrades.

Big thanks to Carl and the entire team for their excellent work!
