We recently hired Mike to do an inspection on a house built in 1889. He was incredibly thorough, very detailed, and helpful in explaining maintenance needs ongoing for the property. Mike was responsive and professional. He clearly demonstrated expertise in the type of older home we purchased, took the time to explain things to us, including general maintenance, etc, and documented with photos. Mike discovered in issue with chimney in the home we purchased, and recommended a course of action. I had several inspections done by One Key Home Inspections. Mike is a very experienced home inspector who goes through everything in the house very thoroughly. He always arrives early and inspects/tests all of the house’s features and systems for functionality and reliability. Mike has always provided me with insight on things such as the life expectancy of water heaters, furnaces, and also appliances. He can also make very good recommendations on how to improve your future home and make it more energy efficient. The inspection reports are timely, very detailed and have plenty of photos to support the findings from the inspection. Will confidently call Mike again when buying another house.

Inspector is a fraud. Didn't even catch that the sump pump discharge emptied directly onto the side of the house. Didn't catch the water hammer. Or probably did observe the issues and just didnt say anything. Now I'm stuck with problems that should've been addressed before buying the house.
