We researched solar power and looked for highly rated companies to receive bids to install a 5 KW array at our home. After reviewing 3 complete bids, we were most impressed by the superior responsiveness, the excellent pricing, and excellent attentiveness to our questions that Mike Nicolosi and his team provided. Knowing that Mike would be the installer on the job, and that he was the one available for answering follow-up questions from the initial proposal gave us confidence that the job would be a success. To top it off, his bid for our project came in with the best package and pricing to meet our needs and budget. We wanted an installation within a specific time frame, so Mike worked quickly to get our permitting secured, and our project underway. I received clear email instructions of where to sign on paperwork for ComEd so that would be completed as quickly as ComEd would process it (ComEd is not in a rush to lose money to us solar powered folks!). Our installation was complete in a quick 3 days (Thursday - Saturday), with us up and running with an app to track our solar power production. The entire process was seamless - clearly orchestrated by a pro! Mike can easily answer any question you have about solar power systems and how to build the most efficient system for your needs and budget, and he has put together an awesome team that installs a top notch, clean power system with outstanding follow through on the details (permitting, approvals, inspections, etc.). Highly recommended!

Rethink Electric installed a 22.4 kW system on my business. The process couldn't have been smoother. We first met with Rethink technical personnel to understand how we could benefit from a solar system. Everything was explained very well. They provided us with several alternatives along with the pros and cons, enabling us to make informed decisions. Since we were the first commercial solar system in our town, Rethink management met with city personnel to ensure that a net metering program would apply to our large system. Rethink was flexible throughout the process and met all targets.
The solar system has now been in place over two months and we couldn't be happier. This is a company I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. They are knowledgeable and responsive.

Rethink Electric did a great job on my house in Oak Brook. The work was neat, done very professionally, and completed in 2 days. System is working well. I would recommend them to anyone interested in installing a solar system in their home or business.

Mike and his team did a great job on all aspects of our system. They continue to offer great support. We love our system. We plan to use them again to install a 220 volt charging station in our garage for an electric car we plan to buy. We highly recommend them. These guys are real professionals.

Great company with amazing customer service. I researched a few solar companies before going with Rethink and I am glad I did. From initial consultation with Josh to further conversations with Mike the owner and other office personal this was the best experience I have had with a company. The install crew is amazing too. Not only do they do the work safely they are great with attention to details during install. Would highly recommend for your solar install.

I had my solar installed by Rethink 6 yrs ago. Since that time, the system has paid for itself in full, and I am driving my EV 15k miles a year at "0" cost for electric power. My app shows that Rethink's system has produced over 65 Mega Watt Hours since we turned it on. Over the years, Rethink has stood by their installation, answering questions and sending out a tech when necessary for adjustments. They are sometimes hard to reach directly, but they always return my calls and/or emails. I would highly recommend them if you are looking at solar.

From the initial quote to the final installation, all done professionally and with the upmost respect to my home and property. I have never had a question go unanswered after the installation either often by the owner himself. I highly recommend ReThink electric for any of your solar needs. I'm a believer that we must use renewables. ReThink people seem to be passionate about the benefits of this.

We used the web site Energy Sage to get quotes for our solar panels, and that's how we found out about Rethink Electric. Their quote was detailed and fair, including a couple of different options, and their references were great, so it made it very easy to choose Rethink.

We're building with the Passive House standard in mind, which entails a lot of attention to air sealing, and Anthony, who had to deal with the conduit inside the house, was very good about working with me to make sure there were no air leaks around their installation components.

Mike, the guys on site, and all the people in the office who we worked with were all great in terms of communication and responsiveness to questions or issues that came up --- even when I made a mistake on site, they were great about it, and came back to make the proper adjustment for me. Also, when an electrical code issue came up, Mike was quick to respond, and he was great about supplying me with the detailed info I needed to resolve the issue.

We've had a variety of subcontractors work on our new house, and it really makes a difference when workers show up who are professional, friendly, and dedicated to doing things the right way. Although they weren't around for very long, we really enjoyed working with Mike, Anthony, Dan, and Cherif.

We would highly recommend Rethink Electric to anyone interested in pursuing solar.

We installed solar 3 years ago with rethink electric. They did a great job with the prep and keeping as little work in my end to do. When obstacles arose they handled it well. And the continued customer support has been very good. I would highly recommend them for a solar install.

I got panels installed and was told one thing but when needing their help was told a different story.

Revised: Company forwarded the proper paperwork to support the Federal solar panel tax credit.

Installation went great. When issues recently occurred, rethink appears to be a ghost town. Multiple mediums of communication have been met with crickets.

The initial install of our panels was worry free. I have since discovered that they do not respond to panel problems later. I have left voice mails regarding a problem panel but they refuse to respond back.

The owner is very rude. Company offers bad support on solar.
