We have been assigning General Parts as the service agency on all our new commercial kitchens throughout Indiana. General Parts is prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. We are very pleased with the service we have received from General Parts, and will continue to assign them to all our new kitchen installations.

Absolutely gouged by this company. Luckily we got a 2nd opinion and only had to pay $100 for a new filter when they claimed we needed to buy an entire circuit board for $2,700. Furthermore, the part we didn't need only cost $2,350 from rational and they were going to charge labor on top of it. I would NEVER recommend this company nor use them again.

I feel as though I have been gouged by this company. I inquired about a commercial dish machine installation a week prior to needing the service. I was explained that a site survey for $295 should be done prior to the install to be sure all parts would be on hand on the day of the install. I agreed to this and gave my credit card information knowing this would be reflected in the final invoice. The site survey was done that afternoon, one week prior to install date. I was present at the survey where it was explained this would be a simple removal of the old machine and "straight forward" install. The day prior to the install I received a call from General Parts confirming the new dish machine was delivered. I was then asked if I received the quote for the install which was sent that morning, 6 days after the site survey. It was 100% higher than I thought it would be. I did not sign the quote and found another company to do the installation for less than half the price. I was charged $295 for a 20 minute "site survey" that I feel was a complete waste of my time and money.

Extremely disappointed with the service I received. On the day of the repair, the technician showed up with a rude and unprofessional attitude right from the start. Just a clear sense that they didn't want to be there. It was uncomfortable and honestly felt disrespectful.
To make things worse, the technician may have intentionally given inaccurate information in an effort to avoid processing the repair through warranty coverage because they will get paid more by the customer. Then 3 weeks later I received a voicemail from the manager I believe his name was Nathan, threatened to send me to collections and said they’d come take back the part they installed without a notice first. I promise at no point prior to this message was I informed that the warranty would not cover the part. I did not receive any notice or documentation explaining that I would be financially responsible. I ended up paying right away and never again will I use this unprofessional company. I just hope corporate will see this and take action.

Terrible. BRAND NEW MACHINE charged me $422 just to come look at it. The guy was at my shop maybe 45 minutes and was on the phone the entire time because he couldnt figure it out. He left saying it was in working condition in his report and it was not. Rude and grumpy man, no customer service skills. I will never call these guys again. Ended up calling my electrician and he figured it out. What a waste of money for such an uneducated person to look at it. He literally did nothing.

I want to give it a zero star, if I could.

Absolute crooks!!! DO NOT engage with them.
I placed a service call for a simple fan motor install along with a Dixell switch. I bought the parts. Called General Parts just to install them. Their invoice for 2 hours of work is $881.72
    Absolutely ridiculous.

$100 to log the service call
    $95 trip charge
$675 labor charge for 2 hours (I have cameras to prove 2 hours)
    $10.95 supplies
    $0.77 tax
    _______
    $881.72

The technician was not CFESA certified.

    ABSOLUTE SCAMSTERS.
