We contacted Northern to get a second opinion after another HVAC company told us we were facing a $3000+ bill to fix our AC. I called in the morning and Tom, the technician, was here later the same day. He was much more thorough and discovered an issue from an unusual modification made by the previous home owner that was completely overlooked by the other company. The fix ended up being much simpler, cheaper, and quicker.

I've used Northern for all my Heating and Cooling needs (and recently Plumbing needs too now) at my properties for the last 9 years and would definitely recommend to all. They have competitive pricing, excellent customer service and very reliable. I've used them for my annual tune ups to installation of new units and have always had positive experiences with their team. I will continue to use in the future for all my properties.

We have been using Northern Comfort System for over 6 years which included a new air conditioner, numerous boiler and plumbing repairs. Gianni, Aaron, Justin and Tom were always professional and explained the work that needed to be done. Gianni also taught me how the boiler worked. Most of all I trust them to fix what needs to be fixed at a fair price.

We needed a new AC system and I called a couple companies out for estimates and Northern was the most competitive on price and was able to get it installed quickly. It was an easy experience from start to finish!

They installed a new heat pump system for my house. Although there was a problem with the install, and I had to call them out twice, they didn’t charge me to come out to address the problems and fixed them within a couple hours of my call.

Northern just replaced my heating and air conditioning unit last summer. They returned yesterday for a routine check of the unit. The technician was in time ,courteous. He wore shoe cvers when entering my home and made a thorough inspection of our hearing and air conditioning system. He was able to answer any questions we had and gave us information about he system and how to make sure we were using it efficiently. Thank you Northern.

2024 - Maintenance performed on unit in March. A/C unit did not run in April. Contacted office. Office sent tech out within a couple of days. Repairs were made. Although paid for labor, part under warranty. Also, great job in replacing garbage disposal. Thanks appreciate the quick response. Still at 5 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟.

Dustin is the technician that came to both of our properties today to service three units. Dustin was also the one who installed our new furnace and AC in the lower level of our main house a couple of months ago. Dustin is always a pleasure to work with, he is courteous, timely, and always has answers to all of my questions about the HVAC. Dustin has always been careful and mindful of the property and always shoots straight with me about price and timing. I will not use any other provider for HVAC other than Northern comfort systems. We have used them for all of our properties for years and we are extremely pleased with their service , their knowledge, and the overall value.

There was just 1 hour gap between calling them and a technician showing up at my front door. Michael was professional and he explained everything before hand. He quickly identified the problem and presented few option for the fix.

Northern has been taking care of our heating and cooling needs for several years now. Our home is older and we have had routine servicing, repair and replacement needs over the years. The office staff is always friendly and accommodating, and service technicians are on time, respectful and professional. Before we had to finally replace our system, all efforts to conservatively service / save it were made. Northern worked with us to replace with a comparable system at an affordable price. Would definitely recommend this company.

Michael Beffano came out on time, did a great job explaining everything he was going to do today. He's a very personable technician, who will take the time to explain options to you without talking down to you. The technicians at Northern seem to stick around, I've used other companies before I found Northern and the techs weren't nearly as knowledgeable.
I've been a very happy Northern Comfort for many years, and plan to stay a customer for many more.

Tom was great!! He carefully explained everything and did the repairs on both my AC and Furnace. He didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need and I felt so much confidence in his honesty and ability. I had never used Northern Comfort before but was recommended by my realtor. They definitely have a new customer. I won’t consider another company for my HVAC needs in the future. Northern Comfort has been wonderful. They are very responsive and professional. We purchased a whole home humidifier and air purifier last fall and it has made such a difference in our home. My family’s allergies have been better and the air just seems cleaner. My son was getting nose bleeds from the dry air and he did not have a single one after getting the humidifier was installed. Also, when our AC went out 3 years ago on Memorial Day weekend they came out and worked until 1am to get our AC back on. Thank you Northern Comfort for the recommendations and great service!

We have used Northern Comfort Systems for nearly 15 years. They have good customer service, courteous and friendly technicians, and work diligently to resolve issues.

Dustin was out today for our furnace check-up. He was professional, polite, respective of our house, answered my questions, and overall provided great service. We have used Northern since 2010 when they installed our HVAC system. I would encourage you to always do research when needing a repair and negotiate. Northern does tend to be on the higher end of a repair cost, but I have found them to be reasonable when pushing back on original estimates.
2023 update. Ask for Zach V. He is personable and I trust him to do a thorough checkup on our hvac.

We contacted Northern Comfort Systems on a Friday afternoon because our water heater needed to be replaced. Aaron Adams came out that day. He was very knowledgeable about our options and was able to help us choose the best model to fit our needs. Aaron came back out on Monday to install the unit. He was very professional, answered our questions, educated us on the system, and cleaned up the area when the job was complete. We will definitely use the company again.

We recently had them out for winter tune up & inspection. Tech showed up right on time! The first the tech wanted to let me know is that the price I was quoted was incorrect (the price going to be less than I was quoted over the phone due to a miscommunication error). He then went on & explained everything that he was going to check out. When complete with inspection & service, he let me know that our equipment was working as it was designed to operate at this time but, the system is 17 years old. Not one did he try to up sale me in a new system. This was our 2nd or 3rd time using Northern Comfort for our HVAC service needs. We ended up signing up for their annual service plan as well.

I have been using this business since I retired from the military in 2016. They have helped my family handle a lot of emergencies and routine system maintenance. I have had my a/c, water softener, hvac, and most recently (2024) my heating unit replaced. They continue to provide the best service in the Indianapolis area. I would recommend their services to all of my family and friends. Keep up the great service and assistance.

The response front NC was great. I call my quote for a new furnace Within moments. The arrangements for the install went fantastic. Dustin did a job installing the furnace and it went quickly. I would highly recommend Northern Comfort to everyone.

Wife and I decided to replace our 17 year old HVAC system and contacted the good folks at Northern Comfort. We were so impressed with the offering and the service our neighbor received that we decided to go with them. The price for a new system was excellent and the installation was impeccable.
