Max and his team are meticulous and professional. The entire process from selecting materials to digital design was so easy. He helped us create the backyard we’ve always wanted. He was very clear and up front about when the job would be started, and how long it would take to finish. I’ve lived in St. John for years and have hired other companies to do some landscaping work in the past... Cutting edge is HEAD AND SHOULDERS above the rest. I wish I would have found them sooner. I would recommend them to anyone!

Had our back patio completely remodeled last spring. I had the pleasure of meeting Max Groen and his crew. Max was easy to work with, delivered on his timeline and created a proposal that met our expectations. He was flexible to comments and/or proposed changes in material & plantings. Overall extremely satisfied with the work done by this company! Highly recommend!

Max completely landscaped my new home. He did irrigation, sod, trees, perennials, borders. It looks amazing! We get compliments every day. We got a couple of quotes and Max had more value for the money. Max is responsive, a good listener and great designer. We are thrilled with are beautiful front and back yard! Highly recommend.

Cutting edge has done a great job on our landscaping in St. John, IN. Max has routinely checked up on us for the past year and continues to show interest in his work. The design and colors for the plan he developed add an element to the street appeal of the house that is great.

Cutting Edge does my lawn every week, and they do a good job and are reliable and reasonably priced. I have also had them do bigger jobs seasonally, mulching, bush trimming.... I am very happy with the work they do and find all of the workers to be friendly and polite. We recently had them put in a brick sidewalk, pull some old bushes, and put in some new landscaping. We could not be happier with the outcome. I really feel that they listened to what I wanted and made my vision a reality. I highly recommend them.

I reached out to Max to install an irrigation system. It was installed 10 days later! Unbelievable timeline from thr initial call to instwll and communication was amazing. Highly recommend for anyone looking to install a high quality irrigation system!

Cutting Edge just finished a beautiful hosta.garden for us. We have used Cutting Edge on several projects over the years and have always been amazed at the design and beauty.

We had sod installed with an irrigation system. Additionally, we had an area seeded as well as flower beds planted around the entire house.

The team at Cutting Edge was very responsive to our needs and performed the work professionally and quickly with attention to detail. The initial quote did take somewhat longer than expected, however with number of new homes being constructed in the area coupled with labor challenges it was nothing that would change my review of the services rendered.

There was even an issue where a few of the Arborvitae did not make it through the winter. Cutting Edge resolved the issue quickly. I would definitely recommend Cutting Edge for your landscaping needs based on my personal experience.

We built a new home in Crown Point while living in Missouri. It was so easy working with Max. He was excellent from the design stage to the installation and follow up. His hard scape (pavers) employees are exception. They added detail we weren’t even expecting. We highly recommend Cutting Edge for any landscape installation!

Cutting Edge did an outstanding job removing our old grass and laying down new sod. They also cleaned up and mulched existing landscaping beds for us. I was impressed by the quality of work and how well they cleaned up afterwards. The workers were friendly, courteous, and efficient. Would absolutely recommend for landscaping needs.

Our first experience using Cutting Edge was to install 2 large landscapes beds in our backyard several years ago and we couldn’t have been happier with the finished project. After that, we knew they would be the only company we would want and trust for a much larger project which was restoring our backyard after an in-ground pool installation. Needless to say, our property looked like a warzone before Cutting Edge took over. We gave them full reign on the design of the patio and landscape. All of Max’s suggestions were spot on to what we were looking for, and more importantly, for things we never even thought of. They handled every aspect of this project – installation of the patio, putting drainage in for the patio, repairing the sprinkler system, planting the landscape, and installing landscape lights. The crew of Cutting Edge were very hard working and respectful of our property. Max was quick to respond to whatever questions we had along the way. And on top of everything else, the project was done in the timeframe he gave us. Needless to say, the backyard turned out beautiful. We have received countless compliments on the work performed by Cutting Edge. It’s the only landscaping company we would recommend!

I've been working with Cutting Edge for the last four years and they have done an excellent job. We use them for our irrigation system maintenance, weekly mowing, fertilization service and all our landscaping needs. They are reliable and have excellent customer service. Max designed our backyard patio & fire pit and I love everything about it! If you are looking for a one stop shop for all your outdoor needs, give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

I received a sprinkler system for my front and back yard in 2021. I was very pleased with the price and quality of work. The guys completed the install quickly. I have the greenest yard on the block. Cutting Edge follows up at the end of each season to offer its winterization service. I would highly recommend Cutting Edge.

I cannot share enough good things about Cutting Edge Landscaping. We recently built a new home in Ellendale (Crown Point) on a very challenging, hillside lot and were looking for a partner to not only provide a solid basis of landscaping (sod, mulched beds, irrigation, trees), but a VISION for what our property could become. Boy did Max and his crew deliver!!

Max visited the site before our appointment and had everything planned in advance. Two days later he walked the almost completed property with us and laid out the plan. He told us what it would take to "really do it up", and less than a week later we received an estimate for all of the work at more than HALF the next closest bidder.

When the crew conducted the installations, they did so with quality and care. Where there were unforeseen issues, the Cutting Edge crew came up with a solution. Only once did they ask for more money...and only for materials outside of the original scope needed to deliver OUR complete vision.

We will use Cutting Edge again for annual irrigation servicing, bed maintenance, and any more extensive additions to our backyard paradise. As said up front...I couldn't recommend someone more!

Cutting Edge/ Max was extremely professional, had great design ideas and his crew - exceptional. I would absolutely recommend using them. They did a fanatic job with our house -I couldn't be happier!

I used Max and his crew at Cutting Edge to clear out our existing landscape and stone... (So so much stone ) and prep both front and backyard for new landscape.

His crew was fast, efficient and professional.
And biggest plus...reasonably priced for all the work they did. Cutting Edge really saved us tons of time.
Look forward to using their services in the future. Until than I will be recommending them to all my friends and family.
