Went in thinking I needed to replace the capacitor for my garage door opener motor. A nice older gentleman decided to tests my old part instead of quickly selling me a new one. He tested it and found my old capacitor was still good. No charge for testing it.What a quality service and most importantly honesty. This review is for the Belt Palace, a division of Service Electric. I have a Vega wood lathe which uses metric multi groove v belts which are very difficult to find in the US. I spent days searching for the correct belts from the usual machine and industrial supply firms, automotive parts, etc. I found one that I needed in the UK but they did not respond to my email. Finally I found Belt Palace, received exceptional customer service and got the two belts I needed.

Place has a lot of stuff, I needed a unique part and he knew he could get it, but didn't even try calling his distributor to see when he could get it.

Was quoted on his website on the cost of the repair. It was a little steep but figured why not. he had some good/bad reviews. NOPE! legit as I walk in I immediately was told not to park where I currently was parked at. He was extremely rude and unprofessional! You would think for how long they have been in business they would be a little more courteous to the customer! That said...if you don't mind dealing with a over grown Ape then this is the place!

Gave me the wrong belt. Too short it kept the pto engaged. She wouldnt take it back said it was used. Duh! How did she think I found out it was wrong. Stuck with a 17$ belt that's of no use to me. She wasnt polite.
