Yelp, Thumbtack, and Angi charge an independent HVAC tech or electrician serious money for one lead, then make them bid against national brands. On top of that, the pro pays $200–$400 a month for a CRM — Housecall Pro, Jobber — before the first job has paid.

Our solution

Organic order is reviews, profile completeness, and how fast the pro answers. Paid reach sits in labeled Featured slots above the list. We are taking ad weight out of the organic score so a budget cannot buy the ranking itself.

Product and traction
The database is in production and shaped to grow into millions of rows. 3.5 million pages are in the system now.
120,000 pages are in the index, including 50,000 business profiles, holding top positions for the queries they target.
The iOS app is feature-complete and finishing testing. End-to-end QR codes are already live on the web.
The product has been tried with independent HVAC, electrical, and plumbing pros. Interest from those pros has kept growing.
The traffic engine
Nobody needs a million-dollar ad account to be in the room when the furnace throws a code. The homeowner is already searching.

Who it is for
The buyer of the CRM is the owner of an independent crew of one to ten people, in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or appliances. The United States has on the order of 200,000 such contractors. National firms that already run ServiceTitan are not the customer. The homeowner is not comparing brands. They typed the code off the furnace, the panel, the washer, or the dishwasher.

How the audience is built
Brand spend turns on when a code page is live and a reviewed pro in that city can take the call. Featured credits for backers stay out of this budget.
Two or three metros. The common codes, not the rare ones. One template: what the code means, what to check, when to call, and a jump to profiles that already have a score.
One to two thousand pages a month, in states that already have profiles. Rare codes wait until the common ones are indexed.
The same template in the other large states. The brand shows up in the season the house breaks, not as a banner that says download the CRM.
The return visit. QR on the invoice, the truck, the door hanger. The pro does not buy that customer again.

A planning model, not a forecast. It assumes 40–60% of new pages are indexed within six months, 10–30 visits a month on a mature code page, and 3–8 on a new one. The 50,000 profiles already in the index are mostly imported cards, not CRM customers. The narrow point is how many owners claim the card when a real job shows up.
What the round builds
Requests, chat, coupons, services, and a QR to the profile are in the product today. The round pays for the rest of the sentence on this page.
Free core for one truck: a calendar, a job made from the request, an estimate and a customer invoice, statuses, and a QR on that invoice back to the same pro. Premium, kept for backers even if it later costs money: job revenue, custom invoice templates, a seat per truck.
QuickBooks Online first, so the invoice lands in the books. Stripe Connect, so the customer pays the pro. Google Calendar and the Google Business profile. Job texts and the review ask go through Twilio and SendGrid, which are already connected. Parts catalogs and a move off Housecall Pro or Jobber come after the first year.
The code page answers only from an edited card: what it means, what to check, when to call. A generator may draft it. An editor publishes it. No open chat that walks someone through a gas valve or a panel. For the pro: draft invoice lines from notes and photos, a draft reply to a review, an open slot on the calendar. A person sends it. The pro on the code page is the published score in that city, not a model's favorite.
The long game
We are not here to tax pros who are starting from zero. For the next two years the company is aimed at media presence, compounding traffic, and the most public good we can ship.
Media presence first. The brand shows up when the house breaks.
Every error-code page is an asset. It keeps working after the writer is done.
The standard is a recommendation from the best friend who already used the pro.
