I was referred to Chad's services through Josh Boersma (a highschool friend) and he answered my phone call right away. He gave me the specific costs and his expert opinion on what we should do prior to planting seed. They aerated the lawn x3 for us. He was professional and let me know when they would be able to come and do my lawn-- and followed through! (This is our third business that we had to seek out to find help with lawn care- all of the other businesses said they would come and never showed up!!!!!) I saw Chad at the Polk City Parade several years ago and contacted him as my yard needed some serious control. Pricing was very fair and reasonable. We moved and took him with with us to Ankeny for our lawn care. Best part is I don’t have to worry about my yard. They just come out and take care of it.

Chad and the guys do a fantastic job. We had a problem with creeping Charlie that other lawn care companies told us could only be fixed by basically killing everything, leaving us with a giant mud pit for a yard for a year. Chad came out after researching our property and had a quote and a plan ready to go. Needless to say, the neighbors are happy that our Charlie is no longer creeping into their yard and we’re happy we never had to look at a mud pit! Great job!

I am on my second full-year program with Chad, and I have to say that S&S has turned my lawn around for the better. Not only have they provided great fertilizer care, but they have also mitigated a giant grub problem that was destroying my yard. Chad is always professional and fair in my dealings with him.

When we moved to our house 3.5 years ago.. the lawn needed some work. S&S Properties came over and put in some time and really took care of our lawn. They put the lawn on a program, drill seeded it every year and aerated the lawn... and now our lawn looks amazing! I think its the nicest lawn on the block:) would highly recommend them!!

A year ago our builder put the worst sod possible down, on concrete (clay)… it came conveniently with crabgrass and millions of grubs…. I have worked so hard for a year on the yard and finally decided to have it top dressed. This was pricey, but so worth it.!! Our yard is transformed and looks as good as the homes around us who all have irrigation and nice black topsoil underneath their sod…. Sutter spent half of the day doing this amazing process, with triple aeration over seed, and top dressing with compost. In one week, it is now transformed.!!!

S&S Property Service has provided lawn services for us for the last few years. This winter we asked them to add snow removal to their services they provide to us. In both the lawn services and in this years' snow removal service we found S&S Property Service to provide excellent quality and timely service. We had an issue last year with some bad sod used on our property and Chad took care of replacing the bad sod quickly and without any issues. We continue to use S&S Property Service because of their friendly, efficient, and timely service.

We really like the work that Sutter Lawns provides. They are timely and thorough, and our lawn always looks nice.
