Justin does it all! He can do anything from replacing a light switch to re-wiring an entire building. He is fast and efficient and I would recommend him to anyone!

Upgraded to LEDs in our office, the technician was very polite, professional, and was able to answer any questions we had. Did great for his first day on the job.

These guys are great. They do high quality work, show up on time, and charge fair rates.
More importantly, they take a lot of pride in their work and enjoy what they do. I've had them work on a few projects, and each time, they go above and beyond to solve problems and get the project done. I highly recommend.

We had great service and they were very courteous. The owner gave us recommendations according to our preference about which ceiling lights will illuminate our rooms better. We love the new look in our rooms.

While turning on my treadmill, power to several of my outlets went off. I tried flipping breakers, and even got out the blueprints to see if I could find any additional electrical information. No luck!

Tony, from Metro Electric, came to check out the situation and within a few minutes diagnosed the problem. He replaced the outlet that had caused the outage and another iffy one and the problem was solved.

Excellent service. Issues with lights in kitchen above micro wave,& kitchen sink straightened out connection& put in new camlights. Instaalled my new smoke dector in pantry.

Called at the end of the day and they scheduled the work the next day and also contacted Evergy. Showed up on time and explained everything to me. Replaced my meter box quickly and we're very professional. Will use them again in the future.

My home warranty sent Metro Electric out to replace a bad GFI in my kitchen. Rod was on time, professional, wore shoe covers, was efficient and courteous. Good company, good technician.

My elderly mother lives in Kansas City and was having problems with her electricity and power outages so I called Metro Electric on a Sunday evening and left a message. I received a call back by 7:30 am the next day from Lisa who runs the office. Lisa arranged to fit my mother in on the same day and have someone to her before 11am.

After scheduling the appointment my mother informed me her lights were back on and it was just a power outage in the area so I ended up cancelling the appointment with Metro. As luck would have it the lights went back out and my mother called BPU to come out. She learned her meter base was burned out and needed to be replaced.

Unfortunately my mother did not tell me what happened and instead had someone that is not a liscenced professional electrician do the work on the same day for $800+. When my sister and I learned of this we were very upset and concerned my mother was taken advantage of.

I live in Chicago and don't know enough about electrical to know if the work was done appropriately so I call Metro Electric back to ask for their guidance. Lisa in the front office is amazing and had the onwner, Kevin, give me a call within 15 min. I explained my concerns and Kevin immediately went to my Mother's house to check things out and offer his expert opinion on the work and what's needed down the line.

I am blown away that Kevin did this out of the kindness of his heart and refused to allow me to pay him for his time or service. He said his business exists to take care of people and do what's right by them and that it was his pleasure to check on my mother for me.

Anyone reading this review knows that this type of kindness and generosity is rare. Metro Electric, my prayer is that the seed of kindness you sowed into our family comes back to you 1000 fold.

Called and had someone out the next day to inspect issues we had with a TV causing breaker tripping issues. The electrician inspected the outlet and the breaker and everything checked out okay. The electrician suggested using a power strip between the the TV and the outlet. All is working great.

We were unsure of how to solve a problem with lighting in our home. Kevin, the owner spent time with us and provided a few options. He provided advice as to where we could get what we were looking for - even doing the research himsolf and following up. His worker was polite, friendly and extrememly effiient as he added lighting over our stairwell and had to use the attic and a scaffold to get the job done. I highly recommend Metro Electric.

I am so incredibly thankful and impressed with the amazing service I received from Metro Electric! The staff is incredibly friendly and very accommodating. We were experiencing multiple power outages in extreme heat and they were able to fit us into their schedule, come to the house and diagnose the problem and fix the issue on the same visit. The service was fast and outstanding! Thank you Metro Electric!

Rod from Metro Electric is the real deal. He quickly addressed the issue. Best of all he took the time to answer my questions and explained things in a way I could understand. I could tell he was honest and wasn't trying to take me for a ride. This company had earned my trust and respect and will be my go-to for any electrical needs.

Mike Rice was our electrician and he did an excellent job; he answered all of my questions and helped me find out everything that was wrong with our electrical wiring, and he resolved everything. He gave us options and helped us save on the cost. I could elaborate even more, but I highly recommend Mike Rice with Metro Electric. 5 Stars
