Lorax design group is the most conscientious and creative team in the region. Specializing in designs that feature state-of-the-art swimming pools. Their founder, Kurt Kraisinger, is all work-ethic, and I was amazed at how intimately involved he was from start to finish. If you want a perfectionist, you want to work with Lorax. Their construction documents are second-to-none. These documents ensure the very highest quality work, and mitigate liability in case things go wrong. This entire experience was divine, and Lorax’s team was ahead of me at every stage- ready to answer my questions, and set me up for the appropriate expectations. Their 3D models are the icing on the cake- coupled with their digital presentations- you can see the project completed, in full, and not just on paper. Truly a remarkable firm.

I cannot rave enough about the work Kurt and his team did for my project. I had a very different vision than I think most homeowners in my area have for their outdoor spaces. After nixing 2 prior landscape designers who did not "get it" I was referred to Kurt, who took my odd-shaped lot, tear sheets from books and magazines and presented me with exactly what I had been looking for. Clean, modern, inviting and gorgeous. The LORAX team was open to me actively participating in the process and found a solution for any question I posed. It was a great collaborative process and the project could not have turned out better.

We took advantage of many of the design services that Lorax offers: Development of a master plan, pool and spa design, outdoor kitchen design, and landscape and hardscape architecture. One of the most impressive elements of the process is their incredible 3D animation capabilities! Kurt and his team develop animation that brilliantly captures your custom design before construction even begins.
The end result was a breathtaking outdoor space that our family has been enjoying ever since.

I have to say this is one of the only times I feel like I truly wasted money. We were a small project for their firm but it was a significant amount of money for us to spend. I felt like we were too small
of a project for them to really give their time and effort to and I should have trusted my gut.

Kurt and the Lorax team most often reached out about paying bills, not to provide updates on the plans or get feedback from us. From small things like our name being misspelled on all of the plans and documents and the directions being wrong on the plans, (ie, they had our facing north when it in fact, faces west) to the fact that after we had responded to their initial plans they simply emailed back “we assume this is fine and is your final plan” to the fact they gave us plans that we couldn’t really … do anything with? They sent us a few contractors to get bids to get our work done, only one of whom ever sent a quote that was the most outrageous thing I’ve ever seen.
Long story short, if we had paid maybe 1/3 of what we did, I would feel like Lorax did an ok job. But unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody for residential plans.
