I work at a men’s clothing store in the crossroads. We had the best experience today resolving an issue in a 100+ yr building. Every time we’ve called Vielhuaer they’ve shown up quickly, given knowledgeable insight, and fixed whatever we had for them. On top of everything Vielhuaer is extremely reasonable in their pricing. We could not be more pleased with the work completed in our home. New kitchen faucet and two new toilets to replace builder grade units. Great results and great care to complete installations without any damage to countertop or tile floors. First class service !

I had a motor on our jetted tub that needed replacing so I did the research and ordered the part and there was an access on the tub but when the service person showed up he needed another one cut under the tub and told us to call when we had it done. The 1st time he was at our home less than 30 minutes. We cut the hole and called the company to let them know. The service person came back the following week and replaced the motor and was at our home for about 30 minutes. I received a bill for $240 and was told the 1st trip there was a trip charge for $60 and the 2nd trip there was a $60 trip charge plus $120/hr so for the 30 minutes that the contractor was at our home the 2nd time we paid $180 for those 30 minutes so just be aware of what the charges are so you do not get sticker shock like I did.

Do not own up to their mistakes. Would not come out to repair the mistake they had made. Will not use them.

I called them up to come for some Sewer Gas. They called before coming, and I asked the Plumber over the phone the pricing, because I wasn't told that before. He said Service Call is $50 min just to come over. If they had to get any tools out or do anything it is $120 min. I said go ahead and come over. We walked up stairs to laundry and downstairs to basement and explained where the smell was coming from. He pointed out to P Trap Drains that were dry and instructed me to add a quart of water. In and out in less than 10 minutes. He went to get invoice and came back and it said $120. I inquired as to why it was different than the $50 I was quoted for service call. He said. There's a trip charge and 30 minutes labor. I said I thought a service call was $50, unless you did something. He suggested that they were cheap compared to other options and there was the mileage and trip charge and half hour. I paid the $120, but will not be recommending their services.

Water was dripping from the water valve on my water heater. The plumber, Wally Vielhauer was asked to fix it. The plumber’s solution was to place a “used” cap on the valve for which he charged over $200.00 dollars. After receiving the exorbitant bill, I called the plumber to express my disappointment. I was told of the cost for his house call and for the 10 minutes it took Wally to go to his truck and screw a used cap on my water heater cost over $200!
The dripping stopped but the water out smarted Wally and sprayed out another way in a few days. Returning from a holiday trip, I asked for a face to face visit at his office. I again expressed my disappointment with cost and the shoddy workmanship. I did not think the cap was the solution and I told Wally that.
Doing my research, talking with other Plumbers, I was told by other Plumbers that the used cap was not the solution for the problem going on with my water heater. I had a company fix the problem. From Wally Vielhauer I accepted none of his many excuses and returned to him his used cap which he accepted and has probably now made the cap part of his working inventory. Wally gets no star from me.

Service was good, however I had issues with receiving the invoice as they emailed it to me and it went to my spam. I was going to pay on my cc initially but they wanted $10 to run my card so I decided it was cheaper to order checks from my bank. They then decided to charge me a late fee of $20+ while waiting for the checks, and also calling me at my work. This crossed the line for me.
