Jerry and Danny came out to replace my water heater and were faster than I thought was possible! Only a couple hours and they were done, and they were friendly and funny the whole time to boot! Highly recommend this company and especially these two techs, they were above and beyond.

Mel and Jerry showed up right when scheduled for the initial service call. We were quickly able to pinpoint the problem and discuss the solutions. A couple days later, Mel, Jerry, and Chris returned and we were all able to work together to get a new drain line laid in a timely manner. You all were genuinely great to work with. Mel Crump and his crew are absolutely amazing!!!! They are MORE than knowledgeable in their field/line of work and it most definitely shows. They have always been straightforward with me the times that I have used them and never once tried to “upsell” me something that I didn’t need. Very honest and helpful people. I highly recommend for anyone to utilize their services over anyone else if need be.

I can’t say enough good things about Mel Crump Services! My son flushed a toy down the toilet, and they came out the same day to try and fix it. That night around 9pm, I texted them with an update that we were still having issues, and to my surprise, they responded right away and even offered to come back out that night! We agreed to try again the next morning, and sure enough, they showed up first thing.

They spent a good amount of time making sure everything was completely unclogged and working properly, and they didn’t charge anything extra for the follow-up visit. Their dedication, responsiveness, and fair pricing really stood out.

Kris and his team are my go to plumbers! I’ve used them for a couple jobs now and would highly recommend them! Really personable, easy to work with, hard-working, very reasonably priced, and they do great work!

Their employees/business partners dump waste like drywall and plastic tarps on their front lawn and leave it to sit for months.

If their services is as good as their driving then find another company. This kid had road rage bad and was cutting people off into the left lane.

We hired Mel Crump for a significant project in 2023 and, unfortunately, had a highly disappointing experience. Despite being paid $20,000 for the job, he frequently failed to show up, only appearing when requesting additional payments. When he did work, it was minimal—often just an hour at a time—before leaving again. Ultimately, the little work he did complete was subpar and had to be redone.

Mel abandoned the project entirely without notice and later blocked our phone numbers. Recently, he falsely claimed on social media that he reassigned the work to someone else—this is entirely untrue. In the fall of 2024, we happened to run into him at Home Depot, where we confronted him and recorded the conversation. He admitted to his wrongdoing, and we generously offered him the chance to make things right by completing a much smaller project in good faith. He agreed but, as expected, never followed through.

Most recently, on March 24, 2025, I saw a post in a professional Facebook group promoting his services through his new business partner’s wife. I commented to warn others, which led to a phone conversation with them. Initially, I believed they would encourage him to take responsibility, but instead, I was met with false accusations and attempts to discredit my account of events.

I have extensive documentation of this situation and will be pursuing resolution through other means. I share this to caution others—do your due diligence before engaging in business with Mel Crump
