Pickett's Roofing replaced our roof and gutters / downspouts. The job was completed quickly and the results are beautiful.

Picketts roofing is a very well known local roofing company known for providing the highest quality work you can find anywhere. They are honest, responsive and really take care of the customer. They represented me with regards to my insurance company and made this very overwhelming process as simple as anything I’ve ever done. So some rate people on price others service, for me it was value, they made my life simple, and I know they will be there if in the unlikely event there was a problem. On top of that they are just a pleasure to work with and all the insurance companies know them, so the insurance companies know that Picketts roofing is going to be honest and go above and beyond to make their customers happy. I had to replaced roof after wind and storm damage. I called Pickett's and they came out same day and done a temporary repair until I got this worked out with my Insurance company. Once I gave them the go ahead they came as soon as material came in and replace the entire roof in less than 2 days cleanup and all. Did a professional job, I would highly recommend Pickett's Roofing.

We had to have a new roof installed and we contacted Picketts and they promptly came out to give us an estimate. Shannon spent so much time explaining everything in great detail about the whole process. They had my roof completed in one day. We were so pleased with the whole process that we ended up getting new shutters and gutters as well. Shannon is great. We told him that we felt like we had known him forever. Would definitely recommend Picketts to anyone.

Pickett's was very helpful in me getting a new roof. They worked with my insurance company. When all was decided, they installed the roof in a day and a half. They protected all the outside, and cleaned up. You wouldn't have known they were here after clean up. Highly recommend this company. They also stand behind their work and product!

I have known the Pickett family for many years. I trust their business to provide a professional job. I had a specific problem with my roof and called to see if Mr. Pickett wanted to tackle the job. He did not hesitate and came out immediately and gave me his professional opinion. He did the job and made the corrections that solved my problem. Then last year it came to the point that I needed a new roof. I called and they responded. To my surprise his crew was able to remove my old shingles in one day and replace all new shingles the next day. It was a professional job and Mr. Pickett and Shannon Boyd did exactly what they had recommended and completed the job. I was very pleased with what they did and the end result. Mr. Pickett cares what the end result is and how it looks and works. He has Shannon Boyd working with him and they handled my large job very professionally and I am pleased. I was very pleased with the time Shannon took initially to talk with us about what their recommendations were and what products were available. I highly recommend the business for the piece of mind that comes with their excellent work.

Haf wind damage done to both roofs. They came out fast fixed both roofs nice people and very professional. I had went thru three roofing companies in 6 months and picket was best by far.

The damage to our roof, gutters and chimneys from a windstorm on April 2, 2024 has now all been repaired by Picket Construction. It has always been easy to communicate with Mr. Pickett and his employees who have completed the work to our satisfaction..They have been very cooperative, friendly, and professional while working on our house. We recommend them highly .

They worked diligently with my insurance company to have my claim approved. Once that was done they came out and replaced my roof within a few days. Seth was great to work with. Locally owned and operated company so they truly care about their customers and the job they do. My new roof looks great!

I rarely write reviews, but the experience I've had working with Pickett's was exceptional, and felt the need to share. We developed a leak in our upstairs master bedroom from a wind storm in Spring '25. I called Pickett's as soon as we arrived home from vacation and Seth had a crew out there the very same day to fix the leak. At that time, using his drone, he was able to determine the leak was from missing shingles and identify other wind damage and suggested I file a claim with my insurance. In true insurance fashion, they denied my claim after sending out a rude insurance adjuster (the second denied roof claim in 2 years), and threw a few thousand at the leak damage and hoped I'd go away.

That's when Seth went to bat for us, explaining the process, working with the insurance company, documenting damage and providing write-ups to my insurance claim manager referencing state law/codes, etc. He even secured samples of my shingles and had them sent off to a lab to be identified for additional substantiation as to the need for a new roof.

After they received that info, I had a check in the mail within a week. The work was top notch, with great crews and a great product. They installed new flashing in a problem area we were having leak issues with and they even replaced a gutter that was bend during install. The roof looks awesome and I've gotten several compliments from neighbors already.

I'd recommend Pickett's to my own mother and anyone else in need of roofing work. Seth was fantastic to work with, my wife loved Clarence and I'll be using them again in the future if I ever have a need.

My first contact with Clarence Pickett was sometime in 2024 when I was concerned about possible damage from storms. He came and inspected my roof and told me I didn't need to replace it right then and that it still had a little life left. I appreciated his honesty!
in late 2025, I was advised by a family member that I should probably go ahead and have the roof replaced before I started having problems (it was 25 years old). I contacted Clarence again, based on a trusted family member's high recommendation. My brother had watched Pickett's replace the roof on his neighbor's house and was impressed by the fact that the crew did the installation following the shingle manufacturer's instructions. NOT ALL ROOFERS DO THIS!!

Clarence came out again and agreed, it was time to replace. We reviewed my materials selection and add-ons I wanted. Based on that conversation, he prepared my quote /contract.

His crew arrived on time, did the tear off, and did an excellent job on all of the components involved in the installation from the underlayment, to drip edge, to ice and water shield, to copper chimney flashings, to new pipe vent covers, etc. My brother and I watched the whole job from start to finish. They didn't cut any corners.

Was it expensive? Of course it was! But I talked to our local code enforcement office and found that his quote was right in the ballpark for this area. Code enforcement also told me Pickett's pulls a lot of permits, so that's an indication of the amount of work he does. Out of curiosity, I also got another quote and the two were within $100 of each other. I went with Clarence because of the rapport we had and I'm glad I did.
