Both my wife and I have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Thompson Heating and Cooling. We received fast and Professional Service. We would like to thank everyone involved in servicing our HVAC especially Wesley who was our technician. The technician is truly the face of the company. I believe Wesley did a fantastic job representing is employer. He was polite and very efficient. He educated me on propper preventive maintenance on our HVAC. I would recommend Thompson Heating and Cooling to anyone in need of service or replacement.

Scott and Buford were amazing to work with! They were able to come out same day and then troubleshoot and fix our problem in no time!

Scott is extremely knowledgeable and trust worthy. He, and the company, obviously care deeply about giving their clients the best value for their money.

Thompson Heating and Cooling is the only HVAC business I use. They did a perfect job installing my new hybrid heating and cooling system. Their technicians are professional and do excellent work. I wouldn’t use any other business for my HVAC needs.

I have used Thompson Heating & Cooling exclusively for many years. I am a real estate broker and in the past I have used many HVAC companies when I had problems at my own personal home and also with homes for sale that I was handling. The very first time I used Thompson Heating and Cooling I was extremely satisfied and even impressed. Ever since that first time I have not used any other company. Thompson has always been very professional and great to work with. I have had clients in the past that told me that another HVAC company had informed them that they had a serious HVAC problem. I would always insist that they allow me to call Thompson for a second opinion. Sometimes the Thompson technician came to the same conclusion, but the price they quoted to resolve the problem was always lower. But there have been several times over the years where the Thompson technician found only a minor problem or no problem at all. I always recommend Thompson Heating and Cooling.

We have used Thompson for the 20 years that we have lived at this house. They have always been responsive to our needs and have performed PM on our system twice a year. I am especially impressed with service of Greg Dowling. He has always been very thorough and explains what he is doing.

Had to have our AC and furnace system replaced, Thompson was super helpful in understanding our options and the three gentlemen who installed the system today were very clean and communicative. Josh, Andrew and Brian even tolerated our dogs harassing them all day.

Honest, reliable, and professional. If you are looking for a company that won't take advantage of you but will handle your HVAC needs professionally and timely, Thompson Heating & Cooling is the right choice. The owner Kevin took great pride explaining to me how much training he gives his employees and when Wesley came out to service our furnace, that training showed. I received a text that my technician, Wesley, would arrive a little before his scheduled time. As promised, he showed up a few minutes early, explained the maintenance he was performing, tested our system with me present after his work was completed, and left nothing for me to clean up! I highly recommend them.

My furnace system stop heating and with the age of almost 21 years. It was wiser to replace than repair. As for my air conditioner it was already going on 6 years. So with the different options that was provided by Thompson I decided I would come out better in the long run with the quality , warranty , and maintenance they provided of having the comfort of heating and air needed with better efficiency . I did compare pricing with another company for the same work . It was pretty much the same . With that Thompson was eager to please and to keep my business did offer me a little bit better toward the maintenance cost.

I am always impressed by their fantastic customer service both over the phone and in person. We appreciate their honesty and no pressure technique of doing business. I highly recommend them!

Thompson's has done a great job on numerous occasions and always been quick to respond. Scott is very professional, honest, and knowledgable when discussing what needs to be done.

I have been a customer for over 11 years. I have found them to respond very quickly and provide quality service. Comfort Club is definitely worth the money. They were able to keep a 30yr old heat pump system operating for many years beyond its normal life span for reasonable repair costs. I recently had to replace the HVAC system. They gave a great price and good financing resources.

Kevin and Chris are so knowledgeable and accommodating. They run a great business and can be trusted with all your Heating and cooling repair and maintenance needs. Definitely call them when you need anything HVAC.

The crew that did my installation showed up about on time and worked hard all day. They were respectful around my family and really knew the product and what they were doing. Our new system is fantastic and we are very happy. They have a great staff in the office and getting the job scoped and scheduled was a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this team for any service they offer.

Late July my AC decided to give out. I called around to all HVAC companies listed in Oldham County and also called most in eastern Jefferson County. All of them except for Thompson said it would 3-5 business days before they could get out there to look. This was Thursday which would mean living in the heat over the weekend. When I called Thompson they understood the urgency being stuck working from home in the quarantine with a 3 year old and 2 dogs. They had a technician--Trey--come out and look at it that day. He was in our attic for about 45 minutes, looked at everyything, quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us recommendations. Said he could repair it but it wouldn't hold for long being a 20 year old system. He said he would have someone contact me for a quote to replace. Worked with Scott the next day on a quote and my system was installed the next Thursday.....the day most companies agreed to come out there just for the original inspection.

They were incredibly nice helpful and the installers worked very quickly on that Thursday. I'm very happy with our decision to chose Thompson. My wallet isn't but this stuff is expensive. After the install was scheudled I got other quotes acting like it wasn't an urgent issue from other places. Let's just say Thompson was very aggresive with the final amount and I appreciated that as well!

My husband and I purchased our first home in July of this year. Shortly after moving in, we had some issues with our AC . Thompson was recommended to us through a very good friend of mine, since the 1st day we contacted them, they have gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to take care of our issues. We have used Thompson’s for years and have always been happy with their service. However, today, technician Chris went above and beyond while servicing our A/C. He did an excellent job maintaining our unit, but he also allowed my 8 year-old son to shadow him. Chris answered my son’s questions and listened to his stories with such patience. He did this all after being stung by a wasp almost as soon as he arrived. I can’t recommend Thompson’s enough and I really appreciate Chris’ kindness.
