Good customer service is not dead.

When I arrived at my business yesterday afternoon, I noticed our parking lot had been treated, but it still wasn’t safe enough for my clients. I own a gym that specializes in working with older adults, and the thought of my 70- or 80-year-old clients slipping and potentially getting hurt was terrifying.

In a panic, I called Hillenmeyer Landscaping, fully expecting to hear something like, “We’ve already treated that lot—you’re off our list.” But instead, they immediately took action to fix the issue. Not only did they come right away, but it appeared that a manager stopped by to ensure the job was done thoroughly.

And then, to my surprise, they returned again this morning to make sure everything was safe and in perfect condition.

Website was fine, but since I was just looking for some plants kinda of a waste since all they show is for work done commercial and nothing about the items they have for sale.

Couple days ago I got passed by a Toyota Prius with there name on the side. I was in my way back from Winchester to Lexington. They were drive at least 100mph, rapidly changing lanes with no signal. Not smart in a company car.

Every time they've been at Amerson Orchard Apts in Georgetown they've left a mess: grass clippings all over the patio, patio items blown about without being replaced, etc. This time was too much. The insides of my vegetable plants are covered with clumps of grass, there's a thick blanket of grass all through my flower garden and on my patio and instead of clearing it up, they just left!

I work at a factory here in Frankfort. I went outside on break, to see my motorcycle covered in grass. Grass was all over my helmet inside my helmet & on my jacket... Very unprofessional. They don't even blow off the grass when they're finished. Well, they do a little, but not much at all. I just had my motorcycle detailed the day before. I have a video, but I don't think I can post it on here.

They cut down my rose bush and I called and left a message to complain on August 6, 2024. They called and apologized and said they'd replace it. They didn't. It began to grow back, though, so whatever. On September 17 they chopped it down again. It's surrounded by rocks and pinwheels. They apparently moved a pinwheel so they could get to it and chop it down again, but they left the weeds on the other side of the bush (so they weren't just being diligent and didn't recognize a rose bush). After discovering this I called on September 19 and complained again. So far they've said and done nothing. Unfortunately, I can't fire them because the HOA hired them.
