We have worked with Limbwalker for years. From yard services to tree removal, they are professional, easy to work with, and do excellent work. We would not trust our trees to anyone else! This tree you see here is a treasure -- and it is well cared for by them!

Limbwalker may be more expensive than some, but you get what you pay for!
Sandro did the annual treatment for Emerald Ash Borer today. I have a very old Ash tree that Limbwalker is working hard to keep healthy. They are also working to gradually get my Colonnade apple trees back in shape.
Other tree services seem to focus mainly on tree removal. Limbwalker specializes in tree health and preservation. I would never use anyone else!

The Red Bees crew of Nelson, Alex, and Trent were professional in every way. They showed up on time and did an excellent job in a safe manor. I will request this crew on any future work.

Tim and the Green Hydra team were great! They took down a large pine tree that I was worried might fall during a wind storm and a Holly Tree that got a little too big to manage. The team of three were professional, personable and made sure safety was priority 1. My son got off the school bus during the tree removal and they made sure to stop all work so that he could safely enter the house. When they were finished the cleaned up all the debris and sawdust. Outstanding!

Tim and the Green Hydras crew did a great job. They called ahead so I could meet them at the house and they showed up on time. Will use them again if the need arises.

They did a great job trimming our large oak tree! We have used them before and would definitely recommend them.

We had two large Maple trees that were dying and could have fallen on our house. Limbwalker Tree Service sent Matthew to survey the risk and assign a crew to remove the trees.
The pre-arranged day arrived, and exactly on time, the Green Hydra Team (Alex, Shawn & Kyle) set to work. This was a huge tree, so the crane was required. The team was careful with our property, setting weight distribution pads under the crane's outriggers and positioning the large truck(s) in safe locations.
The team was polite and respectful to my husband and me as we asked questions and watched the progress from a safe distance.
We were very impressed with the level of safety the Green Hydras practiced, using all sorts of safety gear: radio-equipped hard-hats, chaps, gloves, eye protection and especially important - hearing protection!
The team was very skillful taking the branches carefully from the tree and placing them on the ground without harming existing gardens or other plants. They worked swiftly but safely and finished this job within the estimated time frame.
I would recommend Limbwalker Tree Service without hesitation for any tree work - large or small. We will definitely contact them when we have another tree that needs attention.

Tracy and the other Red Bees were fantastic! They trimmed the two old Sugar Maples in my front yard, maintaining the canopy while getting rid of the dead wood and low hanging branches. They then proceeded to take out a bothersome Holly tree that grew up between my neighbor and my house. They also removed three decorative evergreens that had long ago lost their decorativeness and become a nuisance. They were highly professional, courteous, mindful of the neighbors, and easily the most entertaining event on the block this day!

The Blue crew did a great job on our very large Ash tree! They arrived on time and were very efficient in their work. They cleaned the yard and make it look just as it did when they arrived. We would definitely use them again and recommend the company and crew.

My wife and I recently purchased an older home in Spring Valley with a heavily wooded lot that was in much need of tree maintenance. We chose Limbwalker for the project and can attest that they are one of the most professional businesses that we have encountered in Louisville. We highly recommend them to anyone considering tree services or lawn care.

We worked with Matt to assess what trees required trimming and which need to be removed to ensure the safety of those visiting our beautiful woods. He was knowledgeable and provided us with some options to manage the scope. We ultimately decided to complete everything in a single job and Matt gave us a very competitive quote (including a winter discount) for the work and promptly scheduled the job.

On the day of the job, Tim led the crew (Green Hydras), which included Nelson, Brandon, and Alex over the course of a full day to expertly transform our view and make it safe for our future outdoor events. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. It was clear that each one of them is committed to their work to preserve the forest and do so in a safe and expedient manner. Their positive attitudes and engagement contributed to a fantastic experience for us.

As if this wasn’t enough, the crew made a special effort to support our neighborhood children. A neighbor saw that Limbwalker was servicing our yard and wanted to know if he could have the tree mulch from our job for their yard’s playground area where their kids (and many other neighborhood children) spend much of their time. The Green Hydras enthusiastically supported this chance to contribute, and Tim coordinated directly with our neighbor to haul the mulch down his long driveway to the playground area! The Green Hydras are an awesome team and recommend them for your next Limbwalker job!!

Tim and the green team came to my home today to trim some trees that were hanging over my fence. The trees are my neighbors but the limbs were grown out and hanging directly over my back yard making it difficult to mow grass. Tim went above and beyond! He spoke with my neighbor and was able to cut down more than I could’ve hoped for and even helped my neighbors out because one of their trees was pushing against their house and tearing up their gutters. I can’t recommend this company enough!! I’m so happy with the results.

We contracted Limbwalker Tree Service to trim and treat our beautiful Kentucky Yellowwood tree and to trim large branches from other trees which were touching our roof. 5 stars to LWTS for having the best employees we’ve had the pleasure of working with in years. They put us at ease with their knowledge and recommendations. They are on time every time and communicate at each step to make sure we have no questions or concerns. Tracy and Jeremy from the Red Bees team were extremely professional and courteous. They even saved a Cecropia moth, which had just emerged from its cocoon in our side yard. They were cutting a limb from that tree, so they safely relocated the moth to another tree. It is worth every cent to go with a truly professional tree service company. We’ve been using Limbwalker for years. I trust them and find that we get great service. Lawn, trees, & plants have all benefitted. We had Fall Deep Root Fertilization recently. This was done by Maroon.

Ginger was fantastic and diligent is caring for my lawn. She gave attention to eliminate weeds and took time to discuss my lawn questions. Excellent service! Excellent Company!

Oh my gosh... These guys did AMAZING with a complicated tree removal and I'm so glad I went with Limbwalker! They were hilarious and super kind and one of them is an excellent dancer! I would have gone bankrupt with anyone else but they made it work for me and even went above and beyond. I will definitely be calling them for my next project and suggesting them to anyone who needs help!

Today Aaron came by to fldo a fertilizer tratment. He let me know in plenty of time so I could keep the dog in and open the gate AND he closed the gate when he left. Thank you, Aaron. Five stars.

Limbwalker answers when I call. The Blue Wizards, Scott, Dylan, and Michael, were amazing! They came right away when a branch came through my garage roof. They were careful to avoid birdhouses and little trees in my yard when they had to bring down giant branches. They cleaned everything beautifully. They really care about trees.

Trenton & Jason power-seeded our lawn yesterday and did an incredibly thorough job, plus they are really nice guys!! They were easy-going when I needed to push my appointment to later in the day which I appreciated greatly. My only complaint is regarding Limbwalker's refusal to aerate my lawn before seeding because "they only do that in the spring." One of their own reps had visited and said that it needed to be done because our clay-dominant soil was very compacted. I had to call another company to come do it quickly before our scheduled power-seeding.

Limb walker’s green team/crew (Tim, Tim and Dylan) were excellent. They were kind, professional, on time, and worked quickly, despite the very difficult location of our 40ft tree —in a tight backyard in Germantown with very difficult access.

The Green team came out again to fell a tree in our new house. They were awesome, and took a job that others turned down and made it look easy! Will definitely hire again if we find ourselves with another tree to remove!

The Limbwalker Redbees Team removed an Italian alder from our front yard today. They arrived on time and worked swiftly and professionally and safely to remove the tree. Started with Limbwalker in fall 2025. On their initial visit they did a great job explaining the process and providing the expectations. The technician was both polite and cordial and gave some simple ideas/tips to track progress. It was a great first impression.
