I’ve used this company twice so far. Both times he has come out in a very timely manner, always very polite and friendly. Prices are very competitive with other local companies and isn’t trying to sell you on things you don’t need. Will definitely use for future needs and recommend to any and everyone.

McClain AC came out on sunday after hours when we were desperate for some acceptable air conditioning. Our AC had gone out on us thursday and essentially the apartment maintenance guy screwed us and left us broiling in a 87 degree house. McClain came on out promptly to my apartment and had the problem solved within an hour. He went above and beyond. Not only did he prevent me from possibly heat exhaustion sitting in my own house, but he educated me on what all went wrong and what should be done here on out to keep the unit running properly. He is a sound choice for anyone who needs a certified AC repairman.

Shane was great! Came out on a Sunday and was incredibly helpful and friendly! He genuinely cared about fixing our AC for us and that’s someone you want when dealing with Louisiana summer heat. Highly recommend!

Wow!!!!! All I can say is Shane McClain is most definitely a lifesaver. My 86 year old mother’s air went out. I called Shane late that evening and he was promptly there the next morning and diagnosed what was wrong. Unfortunately, he could not get the parts for a few days. He went over all the alternative options And since her unit was over 15 years old we decided to go with a brand new unit. He had to go to New Orleans to get everything he needed And showed great concern about my Mother’s comfort. He arrived at my mother’s house at 5:00am And had the entire system installed and blowing cold by 9:45am. My Mother is so thankful for him and she is so happy with everything and her house has never felt this cold in the summer. I just want to say thank you Shane for everything you did for her, You are truly a great guy that cares about his customers and I would recommend you to anyone. Thanks

I have used McClain AC for several years and have never been disappointed. Shane is a wonderful person- honest, dependable, and fully stands by his work. I recently had my whole unit replaced and the job was completed quickly (including the removal of the old unit). There are alot of HVAC companies in the area, but the best one is Shane with McClain AC.

After getting a quote from a reputable AC contractor, I posted on Facebook that I was looking for a AC company to replace my system. I had a friend reply and mentioned McClain AC. I called him and he gave me a quote that was several thousand dollars less than my previous quote and included the whole HVAC system. The first quote did not mention the heating system. We continued to talk and he asked me if we had ever had to add Freon. I hold him no. I also mentioned a very noisy fan that was driving me crazy that the AC company had replaced 2/3 years ago and was very noisy from the same day that it was replaced. Shane told me the noise was coming from a bent blade. He took a picture of model # of unit. He came out two days later and replaced blade and cleaned unit. He also said that the unit should be good for several years. I would definitely recommend him for all of your HVAC needs. Very knowledgeable and friendly guy. He even liked “Chewy” my Pekingese. Will call him for all my HVAC needs.
