From beginning to end, a great experience. Fernando texted when the other job was finishing. Was here in 30 minutes. He knew exactly what to do in getting our toilets and sinks taken care of. My dishwasher was backwashing into the sink. He quickly found a drain hose that was completely clogged. Brought the whole system up to code. Reasonable prices and he had all the needed supplies on hand.

Fernando Castro is the most responsive, honest, and reliable plumber I know. He is always there when we need him and we appreciate his honest hard work.

The entire old cast iron waste line from my downstairs bathroom to my septic tank needed to be replaced. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The workers were all polite and considerate..Fernando himself was always available by phone or in person to give me explanations and to correct anything I was concerned about. Perhaps the icing on the cake was that a leaking pipe was found and fixed. It was not something I knew about or would likely have discovered until massive amounts of damage was done. This act alone makes me recommend Castro to anyone looking for plumbing work.

Fernando and his team were diligent in finding the cause of a sewer smell that we were having with our shampoo stations. They did discover the cause and promptly fixed the issue. I cannot say enough goood things about Castro Home Services. They were so accommodating. Worked with my designer on a complete remodel of kitchen and master bath. Results are gorgeous and very well done. Always professional, on time. Great value. Any time they would be delayed always got a text. When I had a problem replacing the screen door on my front door with the glass panel in the fall Cesar came out to get it done for me. Have a problem with a clogged drain Friday evening at 9 pm, Fernando is there first thing Saturday morning to fix it. My daughter bought a row house in Baltimore. They moved plumbing, electrical, and redid kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Were willing to try to accommodate moving some things around, and were successful, to allow for a longer kitchen counter and more cabinet space. . Other contractors would not even try, just said it couldn’t be done. FYI it only took about 2 hours for them to accomplish. The result was spectacular. Also encapsulated crawl space and redid steps to outside area. And to emphasize how wonderful they are, they were working on my master bath remodel when one of those mini tornadoes dumped a tree on my house. I wasn’t home but they called to tell me what happened. By the time I got home there are six people working on getting the house closed up from the rain, and it was pouring down and windy. The next someone was there to clean up the area from all the broken glass and debris. I never had to ask they just did it. Like I said. Can’t say enough good things

When our HVAC contractor saw our sagging water heater expansion tank, he told us it needed repaired immediately and recommended Castro Home Services. Not having a regular plumber, we called Fernando Castro. He fit us into his schedule within a day and completed the repair the same day he did the estimate. His pricing was very fair and reasonable for the time he and his team spent working on the water heater and tank, plumbing it properly so we won’t have a similar problem again. We were also in the process of selling a home in Annapolis, and based on our previous experience with Fernando, used Castro Home Services to make a number of repairs on the house resulting from the pre-sale inspection report, including plumbing issues, foundation waterproofing repair, and well water system evaluation. Fernando and his crew went above and beyond to help get the property ready to go to closing on time, and again at reasonable costs. This is an outstanding company, with a focus on customer service and quality work. We will definitely be using Castro for all of our plumbing related jobs in the future.

My husband and I are new to the area and moved into a house with a very old hvac and ac unit. Moving in during hot temps with no AC was brutal so we needed a replacement asap. Our realtor is well connected with Castro and recommended them to us for service. Before we moved into the house, Fernando checked out the house and gave us a rough estimate of costs for replacement. To explore our options we got a second estimate from BlueDot. BlueDot was extremely expensive, and they knew we had gotten a first estimate somewhere else (but they didn't know who). Just buying a house and living on one income at the time, we could not afford the new system on our estimates without losing all of our savings. BlueDot called again (and again and again) and dropped their price significantly to keep our business. I spoke with Fernando rhat same day and he graciously offered a better deal. Better service for a better price, we had to take his kind offer. He and his men were able to install a new HVAC unit and AC just a few days after we moved in. They worked hard and long hours to get everything done (they literally worked through rain and shine). Nothing was rushed for the sake of collecting a check and they were very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Our house is nice and cool for the summer and are very pleased with Castro's service! We are very thankful for Fernando for making this happen for us as new state residents. We will definitely be using their services from now on and recommending them to more of our friends buying houses in the area.
