came quickly, found the problem, explained what we needed to do. shipley has wonderful technicians, very pleasant, easy to work with. have been with them for years, would recommend them for all plumbing problems.

Chris and his assistant Brian did an excellent job! He could of given up, but instead he went above and beyond and fixed our issue! Thank you Chris and Brian! We are forever grateful!

Lost our hot water heater over the weekend. Chris came over first thing Monday morning and had a new heater installed by 11 am. We now have a PVC tank with a lifetime warranty. The last water heater (also Shipley) was installed 20+ years ago. He upgraded everything to meet the new codes (for no extra charge). Terrific service and a pleasure to work with!

Taylor came to check our Hot Water Tank after we were only getting luke warm water.. He was great! Taylor checked the faucets, pipes and mixing valve. The mixing valve was replaced and now we have hot water. Shipley Plumbing Heating Cooling is wonderful and we always think to call them for any of our plumbing needs or issues......

O have been a customer from wayyy back when I worked with Bob at Lockheed, Bob is gone now, but his boys took care of me on a recent system replacement and they are on my speed dial for any HVAC work, for me and my friends.

Excellent customer service and professionalism. Issue; main bedroom toilet leaking to kitchen ceiling.
1. Given a one hour arrival window and Chris arrived 15 minutes into the window as well as calling in advance to make sure I was available (who else does this?). One large company that you have heard of gave an 8 hour window...
2. Explained each part of the pluming issue to me step by step and showed me the fix and parts needed to accomplish the job.
3. Chris was focused on the job, completed it, and performed a full clean up.
4. Pricing: Excellent including a discount. No need to go to another company!

Taylor was very professional. He explained everything that should be done and made some recommendations as well. Explained all costs related to the job. Work was done faster than I expected and he left the area clean when he was done.

Chris and Bryan from Shipley Plumbing came today to look at our gas water heater. The potential problem could easily be diagnosed as an expensive replacement of the heater. Instead, after looking at the water coming out of the bottom drain it was decided to replace the expansion tank. Chris and Bryan were professional, efficient and honest. Thank you Shipley Plumbing.

Electric Water Heater replacement: The team offered a competitive quote (I solicited three bids) and the tech took the time to go through options considering my value on reliability and energy efficiency. They were available to do the work shortly after the bid. Team showed up on time, was efficient during install, did a clean job, and answered all of my questions. I'm happy with the new system, but only two days in at the moment.

Shipley took care of my hot water heater and water filtration system. They did a great job, prompt service. Will continue to use them for my plumbing issues. Awesome customer service.

I found them through the Montgomery County recommendations book. This is the second time that I have used them and I won't be using anyone else down the line. Chris, Adam and the office staff stayed on top of everything, were flexible with a few extra tasks and accommodated my schedule over multiple visits. Chris came up with a creative solution to a puzzling problem that could have been expensive and disruptive in less experienced hands. Very pleased.

Shipley was very efficient at call back and fitting us in on a busy day. Tech RYAN did a great job at quickly diagnosing the problem and then fixing it I appreciated that he explained each step. I can’t say enough great things about Shipley. We have been using them for plumbing work for over 20 years and their response and work is outstanding. Taylor takes the time to explain everything so a layman can understand and is always cheerful!

Shipley installed my 65 gallon hot water heater tank which has lasted over 20 years until it broke and leaked water on a Saturday. We left a message on their emergency line and got a call back right away. The gentleman on the phone told us that they wouldn’t be able to come to fix until Monday but helped explain what to do with the leaking tank in the meantime. Chris and his assistant arrived promptly Monday morning. They were very knowledgeable and explained in detail the current options of available 50 & 80 gallon replacement tank as well as possible mixing valve addition for faster hot water recovery time. As a current empty nester couple in a 4 bedroom house, we chose the 50 gallon PVC tank with lifetime warranty but decided to hold off on the mixing valve since it can be added later. We were so amazed how efficiently the work got done including the time that they had to go pick up a new tank from a warehouse. The total amount of time was less than 2 hours including the extra task of moving out existing expansion tank to a better location.
It’s nice to see a company that stays around for a long time, able to maintain high level professional staff and do good work. We are glad to have contacted them first when we saw the company’s sticker they left on the tank.
