We've been a Petro customer for many years. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The technicians are also great. They've always done a good job and their prices are fair. They don't over charge for replacement parts. I would recommend them to a friend or family.

It was a HOT Saturday afternoon when I realized my a/c wasn't cooling the house. I called Petro Home Services and they had a repairman out within 2 hours. He fixed it within a half hour, and we were good to go. Thank you so much for speedy, reliable service.

We have had Petro Home Services as our oil burner service company for over 40 years and have been consistently pleased with this company. Their service personnel are prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. This is a well managed company which truly seems to place its customers’ needs first.

We came back from 11 days in Europe after 10:00 pm to find the house had no heat. We called Petro. Richard was extremely helpful over the phone. He scheduled a fantastic technician, who came in about an hour. And heat was quickly restored. What a difference in service compared to an issue we had last year!!

I noticed an immediate improvement in airflow. The team’s attention to detail is impressive, they didn’t miss a single vent.

Mike #752 was great! He was knowledgeable, respectful and efficient. He quickly repaired the AC unit for so much less than expected especially when another company recommended replacement! Very pleased with service and thankful to have working AC.

I use to use Gr n for my heating service for over 30 years and I got sick and was unable to pay my bill on time. I received no care or consideration of my circumstances. They no longer served my family. One of the best things that happen was my finding PETRO they have been like family. When ever I have had to ask for an extension for a payment they have been most understanding, even caring about the situation. The persons who take the calls have the best phone etiquette. They are professional yet you feel the concern. PETRO is the BEST of the Best.

I awoke to no heat because I ran out of oil and the very kind lady politely explained everything that they were going to do so I can heat same day , the cost and no fear about not needing to pay when the tech would come. He was earlier then expected, extremely nice, knowledgeable and an awesome technician. They gave me enough oil to get me to the 2/3 days when the oil tanker will be here to fill it. The lady I talked to also informed me of a program that will help us in the future

Petro Home Services was great. Quick, courteous, professional service. I have a service contract, and David arrived quickly, listened, performed troubleshooting, and returned several days later (I was away or it might have been faster) with the required part. Great service.

2024_0819 Had a banging noise in our furnace-AC that Petro installed in April 2024. Customer Service Rep Patty took the phone call & got us connected with the Petro Dispatch to send out a technician to see the problem. Petro Technician Mike was able to come 3 hours earlier that originally scheduled. Mike was able to find the problem right away, & fixed the system so there's no banging noise on start up or shut down. Thanks Petro, Patty, & Mike!! Glad to be a customer. Would recommend to a friend!

Just signed up for deliveries with this company after my regular oil company abruptly went out of business. They explained all of their programs and helped me decide which one was best for me. Oil was delivered promptly and I received a first time customer discount which helped me tremendously.

I was blown away by the thoroughness of the chimney cleaning. Every corner was inspected and scrubbed meticulously, and they provided helpful tips to maintain it safely.

I called Petro at 9:00am to report that our AC quit working. They dispatched a tech to arrive between 3 and 6pm. He called to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived, he carefully checked the unit, found that the blower motor was not working, and found a replacement motor in his truck. When removing the motor, he noticed the capacitor looked suspect, so he checked it out and found it was bad. So, he replaced the capacitor rather than just replacing the motor - saved us a lot of money. Tech was very personable and explained what he was doing. I’ve been with Petro for more than 25 years and have always had outstanding service from them.

Petro Home Service is so easy to work with! The service is fast and friendly on the phone and in person. The technician that comes to the house is like a friend coming to visit. My husband and our German Shepherd really like him…so do I. He does his job with efficiency and expert skill. All while talking to my husband.

We bought a home in Crownsville and sellers thought we had enough to get through winter. Unfortunately, we ran completely dry a few weeks in. Petro sent my personal hero, Mr Lenny R.

We have a 7 month old daughter and Lenny helped us get the furnace running as the line lost its prime because we ran it dry.

This man deserves high accolades, really. We were freezing for more than 5 days as many people ran out of oil and they could only deliver so much.

I experienced a continual scent in my house that I was unable to eliminate, and after this cleaning, the odor vanished entirely. This was precisely the outcome I anticipated, efficient and comprehensive.

I scheduled duct cleaning for a rental property I recently purchased. I truly had low expectations, but their service was incredibly thorough and professional. After the cleaning, the return vents appeared as if they were freshly installed. It’s evident when someone takes pride in their work.

Update- Larry called me and got me set up with a tech to come out and fix my issue. He apologized for them dropping the ball but it was good to have everything working again. Appreciate the speedy turn around after being contacted.

Been waiting for a part for my ac for 2 months. No update on a time frame for said part to come in. Have called in for a week straight and every person keeps telling me they’ll get a fuel supervisor to contact me. I’ve been calling them almost everyday for 2 weeks and I still haven’t heard back from said supervisor. Pretty unbelievable it takes this long just to get an update on a part. I understand there’s delays but how will I know if I don’t even know if these piece has even been ordered.
