We called A.P. Mathews a few years ago to see what could be done about our house not getting enough air on the upper floor. Paul recommended we zone our ducts since we were basically cooling and heating a basement that we rarely used and said it would be a good opportunity to do it since we were about to renovate our basement. I was skeptical at first but now, more than 2 years later, I have to saying thank you for helping us save on our heating oil and electricity bill.

After waiting 3 days to hear from any of the service providers connected to my home warranty, I reached out to A.P. Mathews Heating and A/C Co., Inc. Best decision!!! Ever!!! The work was performed efficiently and within in the provided timeframe. The pricing was very fair, and the technician was very helpful.

I'm here to add to the 5 star reviews. The guys came out to install a new heat pump on Friday and did a fantastic job. Clean and neat. My wife worked for a HVAC company for 10 years so we have pretty high standards and these guys met them. Not pushy...could have fixed my 20 year old system for $600 but decided on my own to replace it without being pressured to do so. Very happy with everything! Thank you for the awesome customer service.

They were quick, professional, reasonably priced and I am extremely pleased with the high quality of their work.

In our basement we had eight head-banging heating and A/C ducts that dated back to 1951. Paul Mathews and his crew of three showed up 9 A.M. and were done by noon. They rerouted and created the ducts and even manufactured three complex junctions right on the spot.
I am extremely happy to now be able to walk all around my basement without having to duck once! I love my new ducts!

I would highly recommend A.P. Mathew’s. The technician went out of his way to fix the problem. I was expecting to be told I needed to replace my 20 year old air conditioning unit; only to discover (technician) the breaker was the problem. Paul was very helpful, courteous and polite.

Annual service is painless and complete. Friendly, calm confidence. Our 20+ year old gas furnace stopped working on the coldest night of this week (we plunged to 57 degrees, inside!). Having had good service from AP Mathews for a couple of a/c needs in the past, we called for help. Technician Dave arrived as appointed. He was friendly and calm. Dave began evaluating the furnace and monitoring how it would work - and then not work! He found the culprit: a broken ignitor. He had a replacement, installed it, checked the furnace for proper function for several minutes. Dave cleaned up and all was done in under an hour. We've been warm, warm, warm! We are very pleased with AP Mathews and recommend this business.

Needed new HVAC and Water Heater installed. AP Mathews spent the time to come out twice and provide insight and answers to all my questions. After choosing them they sent a quality crew that installed my new Trane System with a high level of skill and professionalism. AP Mathews installed my A/C system and has had to repair it twice. The most recent issues took some time to diagnose and multiple visits as there appeared to be multiple faults - correct one and another one showed up. Paul's team arrived at our house as promised and performed the work needed. I was thankful to not receive a bill for each call out - just a final reasonable bill once everything was working as it should

I can only say that PAUL and his entire crew were great!! When I contact Paul to get an estimate on a new Furnace and AC unit he showed up on time and listened to what our concerns were. He was the OONLY COMPANY to provide us with a TOTAL SOLUTION! And his crew of four showed up on time to remove the old units and install the new units. His crew was very professional and ensured that they did not make a mess. They worked from the time the showed up (which was on time) until the time they finished. I would RECOMMEND A.P.
