This was my first time using JASmith. Greg came over and gave a free estimate for running a natural gas line and replacing a hose bib. His pricing was great. I received quotes from 6 other companies and none came close to JASmiths quote. Two gentlemen came over on time, did the work quickly and efficiently, wearing masks at all times and shoe covers as well. Greg even stopped by to check up while they were working. They were respectful and courteous. Later I asked Greg for a quote for installing a new outside electrical outlet and upgrading the other existing one. The electrician came out the following week and did the work quickly and well. I have interacted with 6 of JASmiths employees and they have all been great. Shout out to Sharon for filling me in on upcoming appointments from the team and coordinating appointments with the county inspector. I was always reminded beforehand when people were coming over. They have a life long customer now. Thank you!

They did all the plumbing and electrical in my house when it was built and then came back in to do the basement when I finished it. The basement work included a wet bar and a full bathroom as well as tons of recessed lighting, ceiling fans, under cabinet lights, network wiring, and conduit for theater cabling.

They do excellent work, are clean and fast, and are super friendly and easy to work with. They responded promptly with written estimates that were competitive and were able to fit me into their schedule quickly. I'd definitely use them again.

Did a great job servicing my tankless water heater. Very honest and upfront. Tech explained that he did not perform extensive and more expensive service because it just wasn't needed and didn't want me to spend money unnecessarily. Great communication. Tech got called into an emergency repair, called to explain he'd be 30 minutes late and he showed up promptly when he said he would. I've had difficult finding a reliable plumber in the past. I'll definitely call JA Smith in the future.

J.A. Smith Co saved the day! We are on a well in Howard County, MD and our water stopped running without warrning. Greg sent a plumber out within an hour who was very knowledgeable with wells and water filtration systems and pinned the exact problem. He installed a new well pump and holding tank and I had water back in no time. I feel awful that I cannot remember the plumbers name that came, but he was so kind and worked so hard getting to the root of the problem. He made sure he tested and troubled shot everything possible to show me that it was in fact the well pump that was failing. Double 5 star rating - all the way around. Honest, reliable and very punctual! Great job.

JA Smith & Co are EXCELLENT!!!!! I have used them both for plumbing and electric. I have never written a review for anything, but I wanted to take the time to compliment this company. David and Tony (electrical) are both great. They made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, and completed the job very professionally. I have had two electricians in the past two years who could not fix my problem. These guys took the time in 95 degree heat to work through it. Additionally I used the plumbing side of this company a month ago and was very pleased. Fair prices. I will never use anyone else again, this will be my go to.

We had a hot water heater replacement issue at our hair salon and when I called to ask questions and get a quote, they were incredibly helpful and efficient. Their pricing was accurate and incredibly reasonable for their services. When they came out, they were pleasant, professional and easy to deal with, so much so that when we bought a new house with major plumbing issues, they were who we called. Mack was on time, focused, and able to walk us through what, how and why on every issue as well as suggest other fixes that would prevent longterm issues. They have been incredibly reasonable in pricing and very easy to work with. They definitely have us as customers!

I am a on-site manager for a property manager company. I never leave Google reviews but for this amazing company I had to. Yesterday we had what we thought to be an emergency situation with our main water line at one of the properties. I called around and nobody could really help or said it was "to big of a job" for them to do. I called J.A Smith and they were AMAZING. Hands down one of the best companies I have ever experienced. From the phenomenal customer service to how fast they were able to come out and get us answers all while being completely honest and trustworthy. I will forever use and recommended J.A Smith from now on!!
