Maurice has done electrical work on my home twice recently. He was personable and knowledgeable. The second visit was challenging, with a 1940s fixture that I wanted installed to replace an existing fixture. He made several phone calls to locate a part that would work, and then had to be creative to ensure that it was stable once installed. Many thanks!

Kris was here early this morning and made that 20-minute call as well. He explained the pricing and once we agreed he got right to work. We look forward to working with Kris again.

We contacted Hawkins electric because all electric outlets on 2nd floor were not working.
Tyler, the service technician was excellent in identifying, explaining, & fixing our problem. We are extremely pleased with his knowledge & work! We’ll call him whenever we have any electrical problem. He also replaced outside spotlights & front door light fixtures & dimmer switches.

These guys are were awesome each and every time I’ve called on them. Best electricians, hands down. I refer them to all my clients within our industry because I know they only make me look good. I use them on my own jobs when we need an electrician and I’ve used them at my house to install some new drop lights. My wife was home for that and said their guys were the neatest contractors she’s ever seen. Minimal drywall repair after 4 living room cans were installed (2 small 3”x6” holes were all they had to cut to fish wire for 4 ceiling cans).

I’d recommend Hawkins Electric to anyone that wants a fair, professional, and service oriented elwctrixal contractor!

Hawkins Electric has helped me out twice now. They were very familiar with the issues of wiring in my older DC home; they hard wired my smoke alarms and put in an outdoor outlet. Prompt, professional work at a fair price, and both servicemen who came were personable.

I whole-heartedly recommend Hawkins Electric Service. I've never had such a honest, patient, cordial, and friendly electrician come out and resolve wiring issues. Andrew was the technician updating outdated wiring to install the Google Nest thermostat, and from the beginning to end, he informed me the steps, what he was about to do, and double-checked with other electricians to ensure his work was absolutely flawless. My heater works, and I am 100% satisfied. Thank you!

I've used Hawkins Electric for projects around my house on several occasions and have always felt their staff to be professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I currently sit on the board of my HOA and was recently tasked with finding information for a much larger, neighborhood-wide project. Over many months, I spoke to several electricians and was met with blank stares, no returned phone calls or folks just not following up. I finally called Hawkins and after a short explanation of what I needed I was quickly put in touch with Todd, one of the owners. He was FANTASTIC as a resource. He gave me the names and contact info of electrical engineers and security experts and basically gave me a play-by-play about how to go get done what I needed. We spoke several times over a few days and he would even call me back later in the day if he had other ideas or suggestions. I never had to pull teeth to get information. You can tell Todd has tons and tons of experience and enjoys solving a problem. I wish I had called sooner. 5-star experience, reliability and workmanship. I highly recommend.

I called this morning to get a straight 3 prong dryer outlet replaced with an 'L' shaped 3 prong dryer outlet. I called and Andrea answered and was upfront about the $59 travel fee and list of pricing. She even told me that she can have a technician come same day. Most companies were unable to give me a price over the phone, so I was relieved when Sean arrived and quoted me $137 + $59 travel fee. This was cheaper then the quote received over the phone from another company. Sean and his assistant were courteous, professional, and finished the job fast. They cleaned up behind themselves, quoted us for a future job, and we received $25 off our next service. Great Job! I will definitely use Hawkins Electric Service for all of our future electric needs. Thanks Hawkins Electric!!!

Kris came today to find out why I didn't have power to two HVAC units. He discovered an electrical problem he fixed and directed me to have to source of the problem fixed by my HVAC company. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and resourceful. I would recommend the company and Kris to everyone.

Kris Carter did excellent work installing four exterior lights at our home. Kris also repaired an existing light that had a loose connection. I'd be happy to have him return when we have future needs.

Completely impressed by this company! We had a very complicated junction box that needed to be organized, re-wired and set up for several light fixtures. We worked with a technician named Richard, who was an absolute professional, very polite and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what he thought we should do, discussed the price and did the job perfectly. We will only work with Hawkins Electric and Richard from now on! Highly recommend this team!
