Richard removed an old cabinet in the kitchen and replaced with a new cabinet. He made some corrective adjustments and fit the cabinet in beautifully in a tight, not level spot so that it’s placed perfectly. Great job, thanks!

Rich at builditbetter is awesome. I first met him when I needed some new tile done in my bathroom. He's done many jobs for me since then and I couldnt be happier with the level of skill and service he provided me. As a fellow contractor (hvac) I know more than most and definitely recommend him highly to home owners looking for great craftsmanship.

Hired Richard because my daughter met him at the hospital waiting room and he gave her a his business card. "Mom I found a contractor for you". After a long-distance conversation we hired him from 1500 miles away to remodel our condo. We were thrilled with the result; better yet Richard followed up insuring that everything came out perfectly. Richard is a professional in more than one sense of the word. His work is very well done and his customer service is outstanding.

Richard has been our “go-to” person for anything we’ve needed in our home for many years. Various projects have included installing a new roof, updating kitchens and bathrooms, furnishing new hot water heaters, garage doors, and various carpentry projects. Admittedly, a “picky” person, I can attest to his craftsmanship, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and PATIENCE! I’d like to think I have a lovely home and Richard has helped to make it so.

Richard helped plan out and design our kitchen making it the kitchen of my dreams! His expertise and knowledge clearly helped the project go smoother. Richard was available at any time we requested, always willing to discuss changes or improvements and offered advice on design services. We stayed under budget and Richard ensured the process was within the timeline we needed. I would 100% recommend Richard to anyone needing home improvements.

Rich did a kitchen for us and did an amazing job. There was even some bad pluming behind the walls that he cut out and took care of free of charge. Everything turned out great. Would highly recommend this company. I will be calling Rich for all my home improvement projects.

I met Rich at the Home Show at the DC Convention Center in 2007. He's completed three to four remodeling projects, two being the complete remodel of a vacation home and a condo. The third was the installation in the kitchen of a marble backsplash and pendant lights and a new half bath. Recently completed an update of the condo. Looking forward to having Rich do a new kitchen renovation.

The new kitchen renovation was completed in September, 2019. It's beautiful and highly functional with LED under-cabinet lighting, quartz countertops, wood cabinetry and porcelain tile flooring. Once again, Rich did a superb job , as he adhered to all of the coop board's rules. The first two photos are of the old kitchen. The others are of the progression of the new kitchen and the final product.
