We were fortunate to run into Miguel, owner of Abanto painting, at Sherwin Williams paint store in Georgetown!

Abanto did a fantastic job painting our entire house. It was easy-peasy working with him, we chose the paint color, and he did all the rest, buying the paint, etc. Because he does such high volume, he was able to purchase paint at discount at Sherwin-Williams. Painting is just not rolling paint on the wall, but also attention to trimmings, baseboards, and doors, in addition to prepping the walls very nicely and painting straight edges (line between trim and walls). Devil is in the details. He was very reliable and well-priced. The workmanship was very well done. He did the job done in a week, which was what we needed, and house is three levels.

Miguel Abanto did a great job on the exterior of my house and the deck. He was very conscientious and hard working. I really appreciated that he used high quality materials to ensure the durability of his workmanship. Miguel and his crew were always on time and informed me in a timely manner about any changes in the schedule due to the inclement weather.

We initially hired Miguel and his team because they gave us the best quote for installing a backsplash. And boy are we glad we did! They didn’t just do great work, they also took the time to explain everything along the way and to ensure we were using quality materials. We were so pleased with the backsplash that we hired them back to repaint the house. And again, we were impressed by the quality of the work and even more by the professionalism. We failed to notice a couple of paint issues during the final walkthrough and asked Miguel weeks later if we could pay him to come address them. Even though we had already paid him in full, Miguel made a special trip to touch them up at no additional charge. We’re pretty particular folks when it comes to our house and, honestly, we couldn’t be happier with the folks at Abanto. We'd give them an enthusiastic six stars if we could and they'll be the first call we make for future home projects.

I have used Abanto Painting and Carpentry for more than 5 years and each time I have called on this company for help, they have helped me with painting, installing a new toilet, installing a new light fixture. Last week I had water damage from the bathroom and they came and fixed it and plastered and painted and it looks terrific. They are very professional, reliable, dependable and their prices are reasonable. They can do all kinds of work inside and outside of the home. I highly recommend them.

I met Miguel while he was working at a neighbor's home. I mentioned the tile work I needed replaced. He was so accommodating by looking at the work that day and getting back to me within a few days with a good, competitive bid. The work was beautifully completed two days after work commencement. I highly recommend Miguel and his teams.

Miguel and team did an excellent job. I asked them to do a number of different painting jobs around the house. They arrived when they said they would, they were flexible when I wanted to switch around a couple of minor things, and they cleaned up entirely before they left. This is the second time I have worked with Abanto (first time was on drywall repairs in the ceiling) and will definitely work them them again.

Miguel is a pro in all senses of the word. We hired him to move a bathroom light from above the mirror on the wall to the ceiling. When he arrived to do the job the first thing he did was to cover everything in the bathroom with plastic to make for an efficient clean up. Miguel's electrical work and drywall repair is perfect!! No signs that the bathroom light was ever on the wall! Great job and we're already discuss multiple projects for the next few weeks. He's honest, provides an incredible skill-set with pricing that is fair for both sides.

Working with Abanto has been great! Craftsmanship is excellent (worked on fixing hardwood floors, renovating an entire bathroom - including walls, vanity, sink, lights, etc), installing overhead lights, and power outlets. and they are very reliable with their work and responding to needs. I would continue to use Abanto for future projects and have recommended them to others as well.
