All reviews for SH Electrical Service

I highly recommend SH Electrical Service. I am getting a sump pump installed next week, and I was looking for a Master Electrician. I could not be happier with the work that Sorin did for me. He was very professional and provided me with a perfectly reasonable estimate. I really liked and appreciated the quality of his work, the attention to detail, his work ethic and the time he took to answer all my questions. He vacuumed and left all areas nice and clean. Without any hesitation I will be calling him gain for additional electrical work.

We had a great experience with SH Electrical involving several jobs. All the work was done really well with clear explanations. Communication was excellent and timely; scheduling was easy. We appreciated that options were presented for our review and we felt our needs were really heard. I would definitely recommend Sorin and SH Electrical Service.

Highly recommend! SH Electrical was prompt, professional, and fairly priced. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the electrical issue was in constant communication on providing updates. We have an old house with a lot interesting electrical solutions. Through the feedback and recommendations I felt safe and confident that the work was done correctly. I'll definitely use them again for future electrical needs.

I am delighted to provide a review for SH Electrical Services. Master electrician Sorin was an excellent professional who was prompt, efficient, and knowledgeable in his work. He replaced my meter box, circuit breaker panel, bathroom fan/switches, and fixed complicated and possibly dangerous wiring in the bathrooms that was installed by a previous owner. Sorin was thorough in his work, explaining each step of the process to me and answering any questions I had. His attention to detail was impressive, and he made sure that everything was up to code and safe before he left.

Sorin's expertise was evident from the moment he arrived at my house, and he took the lead in communicating with Pepco for anything that involved them. This was a relief for me, as I have worked with electricians in the past who left me to fend for myself with Pepco with little knowledge of what was supposed to happen. Throughout the process, Sorin was courteous, respectful, and professional. He took the time to listen to my concerns and provided practical solutions that fit my budget. His communication skills were excellent, and he kept me updated on the progress of the work.

Overall, I would highly recommend SH Electrical Services and Sorin to anyone in need of an electrician. Sorin's expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding, and I would not hesitate to use his services again in the future.

Sorin is easy to work with. He is knowledgeable and carefully considers what you want. The job was done well!

We hired SH Electrical Service based off of a recommendation from a neighborhood list serve. We emailed and they got back to us quickly. I had a great conversation with Sorin who was efficient about scheduling. On the day of our service, Sorin arrived a few minutes early, walked me through his thoughts about the project and he did a great install. He is professional, punctual, knowledgeable and meticulous about his work. Our job was wiring a ceiling fan in our living room. There was no existing wiring in the ceiling so this included running wiring in the attic, connecting to an existing switch and most importantly… the installation of the fan which we’ve wanted for quite some time. We HIGHLY recommend SH Electrical Service and we are thrilled that we used them!

We've found our dream electrician! I can't imagine a better combination of skill, knowledge, skill, pricing, and great personal demeanor.
We've used Sorin for two jobs:
-- He installed a 240V circuit and receptacle when we switched from a gas to an induction range, handling our old house and its weird walls/joists very smoothly.
-- He also did our EV charger, bringing the 240v line from the basement box to the front-lawn charger post. Great advice and execution all the way.
He planned, explained, and executed both projects flawlessly--and very pleasantly. We'll never call anyone else!

Sorin is truly skilled, and he explained things logically and easily tailored to the customer's level. The pricing was reasonable, and he resolved all the issues as we requested. What impressed me the most was how quickly he diagnosed the problem accurately and executed a solution. I've encountered many people who tend to exaggerate problems or make customers anxious to make them spend more money, but Sorin didn't give off that vibe at all. If we encounter any electrical issues at home in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to call Sorin. I'm genuinely pleased to have found a reliable, reasonable, and impressive professional like Sorin.

Sorin was great and able to diagnose the electrical problem in my garage efficiently and quickly. The solution was simple and a much more extensive electrical fix was avoided. He explained the issues well. Very knowledgeable and friendly and well worth the fee. I will definitely call him again if needed.

I highly recommend Sorin if you are looking for a good electrician. He recently did some work for us and we were very impressed. He is friendly, professional, and honest in his pricing and recommendations. We have a few more projects for the future and we will definitely be going with SH Electrical when the time comes.

We recently hired SE Electrical Service to install a light pole by our front yard walkway. Every phase of the project moved seamlessly, from my initial phone call to the company to final completion of the project. Soren was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is personable, punctual, meticulous, and well-versed in his trade. He thoroughly cleaned up after completing work and treated our yard like it was his own. I am very impressed that the lawn area where he dug the trench for wiring does not have to be reseeded.

His pricing is reasonable and he even offered options that would reduce costs without sacrificing quality. We requested three estimates for our light pole project and his was by far the best from a cost-benefit perspective.

Our search for a reliable and competent electrician is over. Highly recommended!

SH was great to work with. They provided an electrical panel upgrade/expansion and even accommodated a last minute add, all very quickly and at a great price. Would absolutely recommend!

We had Sorin upgrade us to a new electrical panel/box and add a car charger. He did a good job for a fair price. He was very clear about the process, showed up on time to do the job, and got everything done promptly. Pretty much everything you would like in someone working on your house. We passed inspection no problem. The inspectors comment was "very clean".

Sorin is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He gave excellent, well informed advice regarding installation of an EV charger. His work was top notch and his price was reasonable. He was polite and punctual. I highly recommend him!

I was so happy to have found SH Electrical online. I relied on the excellent reviews that satisfied customers shared. Sorin was so great at listening to me and recommended a plan that worked beyond my expectations. A consummate professional with the ability to answer questions and ultimately provide superior service. I highly recommend him and am already planning my next project.

I highly recommend SH Electrical. Sorin Hatnean, the electrician and company owner, did for us a small job involving multiple circuits. He was very responsive (not everyone is) and always timely, friendly, and professional. As we walked thru my house during the estimate, Sorin asked good questions for understanding what we needed and suggested alternatives that, for example, would be more cost effective. That approach helped make his estimate very competitive. I watched him on and off as he did the work, and he seemed happy to talk thru what he was doing as he went. I learned a few things along the way; really valuable. His work was excellent and competitively priced.

My husband and I have asked Sorin to perform a few electrical items for us. We originally found him through a neighborhood recommendation. He is, without a doubt, the most professional and excellent service provider I've ever had in a home or condo.

Our first job was to install recessed lighting in our upstairs bedrooms. In looking at the project, Sorin noticed our smoke detectors were not legal. He recommended fixing them, but did not pressure us to do so. We ended up adding them to our list of projects and he walked us through how he would adjust each one to make sure it was legal and would be safe. He also discussed all light placements with us, not just rushing to get the job done. He made sure lights would be placed to not interfere with the ceiling fans and so that all spots in the room would be lit. While his electrician skills were superb, I appreciated the extra time communicating with us how he proposed to solve the issues. Never did I feel like he was requesting to "upcharge" us as he always explained multiple options and scenarios.

Our second project was assistance running an extra line for a fan in the master bathroom. Sorin walked us through options, allowing us to discuss and figure out the best options. His work was tidy and cleaned, we hardly knew he had been there when he left, even though drywall needed to be cut for the project.

I recommend Sorin to everyone I know who mentions needing an electrician. He's exceptional!!

Sorin at SH Electrical Service was referred to me by another electrician about a year ago. Since then, Sorin has completed three electrical upgrades on my real estate clients' homes. All of my clients and I are extremely satisfied with his work. He conducts a very thorough assessment, provides a detailed estimate, and does a great job. His handling of permits and approvals with utility providers and county inspectors facilitates my processing of required reports. Sorin is a great Master Electrician!

Sorin did an amazing job with upgrading our electric box. He is fair with his pricing, on time, friendly and honest. I recommend him to any and everybody who needs any electrical work done! Thank you Sorin for everything!!

I am extremely pleased with Sorin's work. He is very precise, takes his time when installing fixtures, which insures precision and attention to all details. He is very knowledgeable, and understands how to place light fixtures in a way that is aesthetically pleasing. He is neat and fastidious about cleaning up after himself. It has been a true pleasure to work with him, and I will definitely be calling him again for any electrical work in the future.

Sorin has been a pleasure to work with, totally smooth and accommodating communication and scheduling. His work has been top quality across the board. We had a handful of contractors helping fix up our new home and SH Electrical consistently stood out as the most reliable. Can't recommend him enough.
