My 23 year old ac unit finally stopped working so I went online to research potential contractors. After reading the favorable reviews Home Comfort Air Services was getting I decided to give them a call. Yousef came out to inspect the system and I decided to get it replaced given the age. He gave me an estimate which I shopped around for comparisons and found that his price was very fair. On the install date Yousef showed up early with his crew, they quickly removed the old unit and I was able to go to work while they finished the installation. I got a call from Yousef that the work was done early. I returned to the property to find the unit installed and Yousef tested it in heating and cooling mode while I was there. The area around the work was left in a spotless condition. The difference between my system and the systems installed by other contractors for other units in the building was like night and day. From the pad the unit rests on to the secure attachment of the fuse box everything was completed in a very professional manner. I am completely satisfied with my experience with Home Comfort Air Services and really appreciate the communication and excellent customer service I received. I would absolutely use their services again.

I called Home Comfort. Yosef came the next morning, did a full check of the system. And found a the problem was a bad capacitor.... He saved me over $2k in unnecessary expenses.

Our furnace gave out overnight , a day prior to the coldest night of the year. I made three calls — the first company offered voicemail, the second took several minutes to verify it did not service our area, and the third was answered by Yosef. He agreed to come that evening, and arrived early. He talked me through the job as he progressed, was through within an hour, and had the furnace roaring. Outstanding.

Yosef was prompt, highly competent, informative and personable, and beyond these qualities he genuinely cared that this household had heat when needed. From now on, when I need appliance repair, he's the guy I'm going to call.

Hello all I have used Yosef (he is the owner of this company) services about 4 times so far and every time he has been very courteous. Also he explains what he is doing and why he is doing it, he will work with you on many different issues like payment, scheduling and others. He tries to give you options that best suite your needs not like the big companies that advertise on TV all the time. In a time when so many companies seem to be out to just rob you blind and do a half job for full money Yosef seems to be trying to stay honest and true to doing a good job so that you will not only want to use him again if you need to but as well you would want to tell others about his services. Which is why I chose to write this review because this is not something that I normally do in any case whether good or bad.

Yosef provided incredible service the last time we had an issue with our system, so we called him again when our AC stopped working. He came over to the house immediately and had the system working again within the hour. Yosef is professional, respectful, and efficient. He is the person we will turn to with any of our HVAC problems.

Yosef installed a new heat pump and air handler in my home. I found him very easy and nice to work with, his rate to be competitive and reasonable, and the installation to be excellent and relatively quick. So far, everything is working well.

I highly recommend HCAS. I bought a 100y old house with two dysfunctional HVAC systems that needed major updates to the ducts and furnaces. Yosef and his team helped to resolve all these issues and did a great job. After having a very bad experience with a big name HVAC company, I interviewed a dozen of other companies in the DC area and Yosef was the only one who focused on addressing my systems’ issues rather than trying to sell me unnecessary services and equipment. His work was reasonably priced and done in a timely manner. I find him and his team highly reliable and a pleasure to work with.

From the moment I decided to go with him, he's been incredibly responsive and accessible. His pricing is the lowest and very straightforward. I've worked with several contractors and I would put Yosef and his company as a cut above the rest. He is the easiest person you can ever find. During one of the coldest nights of the year, I noticed my heat had stopped working properly. I called and spoke with Yosef, and he was able to make an appointment for me sooner than I was expecting. He did thorough testing, and when I needed to have a part for my HVAC replaced, was able to quickly find a new one for me. Having things like this break is very stressful, but Yosef was very professional and friendly, and I definitely felt like I was in good hands. I’ll be calling back for all my maintenance needs in the future. Highly recommend.

Yosef is really good, honest and professional. Provided the lowest quote for hvac replacement during peak summer and completed the installation flawlessly on time. Also provided a very honest assessment of our second unit and fixed a minor issue with that unit for a very reasonable price. I will recommend this business to anyone for their hvac needs.

My mother AC broke and I called several companies who couldn’t get to it without a service contract. I saw great reviews for Home Comfort and called. Josef managed to get there in a couple of hours. He fixed the issue temporarily to get Mom some cool air then came back with parts to complete the job. Excellent service, honest assessment and a fair price.

When our furnace failed, Yosef came out the same day to diagnose the problem and gave an honest and competitive set of proposals for replacements. Despite an issue with the installation of the previous furnace delaying the process, Yosef stayed until 7PM on a Friday to get it all sorted out ahead of the big snow storm we had in Maryland in January 2024.

First time customer here! My heat went out yesterday and I google searched for HVAC services in Silver Spring where I came across Home Comfort Air Services which is Google Guaranteed and had all 5 star reviews so I gave them a call. I spoke with Yosef, the business owner, and let him know that my heat had gone out earlier, he asked me some questions to get an idea as to what the issue might be, and we scheduled a service appointment for the next day. Yosef comes by and I have to commend him on his professionalism, technical expertise, and being an excellent communicator. I very much appreciate his honesty and straight forwardness when discussing the issue as he didn’t try to finesse me and say something was a problem that wasn’t really a problem, he was straight with me and did good business. While working on my HVAC system Yosef explained everything that he was doing in a way that somebody like myself who is a first time homeowner and doesn’t have any experience with HVAC systems could understand it and showed me everything he was doing to my HVAC system, basically giving me a full rundown of what was taking place. He tested a couple of things on my HVAC system and it turns out my capacitor was dead. Yosef had some capacitors on hand in his service truck, they were brand new, and he replaced my capacitor on the spot and tested the HVAC system again to confirm that was indeed the issue. It was and once the new capacitor was installed I was able to get heat in my home again which I am grateful for. I am extremely thankful for Yosef’s help today and highly recommend him and his Home Comfort Air Services business to anybody experiencing HVAC problems.
