Yesterday McCrea installed our new HVAC system - we purchased it through Costco. For anyone needing a new system, Costco has amazing prices with rebates and all work and servicing with McCrea. We were very pleased with the work that Mike Childers and his assistant did at our home. It was a complete tear-out of our existing unit and they laid dropcloths on our hardwoods to avoid damage. They provided my husband with a good understanding of our system and what we needed to do further (contact an inspector to finalize the install). McCrea will be our service company for our new Lennox system. We highly recommend.

McCrea installed my new HVAC system with heat pump a year ago and I just had a one year check up. Install was done in 4 hours and the county inspectors said it was an impeccable job. They cleaned up after themselves well, which I appreciated. The check up also went well. All of the employees were very professional.

McCrea Heating & Air Conditioing provided outstanding services. Early this year, I had a problem with heating. My furnace was pooling water underneath it. I called Blue Dot, the technician who was spent to diagnose the problem told me that my furnace was damaged and I am to change it. The estimate was about $14000.00. I was shocked and decided to get a second opinion. I reached out to McCrea and a technician was sent to my house. The technician diagnosed the furnace and discovered that it was just a blockage in the filter. The technician unblocked the filter and the problem was resolved. Something that I was told that I have to change the whole furnace ended up been a blocked filter issue. It only cost me $109.

This was my annual maintenance checkup on my 2 year old unit. The tech Luke called to tell me when he’d be arriving. He was polite, knowledgeable, very thorough, and answered my questions. It’s a very hot day but he spent a lot of time checking out and making some corrections to my outside unit. I’m very pleased with the service and attention.

Luke was the technician who came to my home. He was efficient, knowledgeable ad professional. He explained how my unit worked and how to take care of it.

The woman who answers the phone call is beyond rude and unprofessional. Whenever I call for an appointment, she makes me feel like I am bothering her tremendously. It’s sad that McRae has to hire someone like her, but they do great work, but having to deal with her is a nightmare.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE!! I highly recommend McCREA Heating and Air Conditioning. We had no air for 3 weeks because we wanted to make sure we made the right decision among different HVAC companies. After careful review, we invested in them, especially since it was quite a large monetary investment. They care about their customers’ well being. One of the technicians asked if we had a carbon monoxide detector and I said no because we don’t have gas. He said it is code now. So, he installed one free of charge. I couldn’t believe it because companies charge for everything nowadays! We have found the gem. And, you will too.
