I contacted Martinez Tree Service to remove several trees of heaven. Matteo came out and assessed the tree line, identifying several other trees that I missed. He also noticed that their were several trees that had poison ivey vines creeping up and some brush that needed to be cleaned up. I was impressed with his wish to save the trees to maintain the tree line. Matteo sent over an estimate, proof of insurance and confirmed the date of service.

I had overseeded prior to the day of service. The crew that came out was respectful of the work that I had done and worked efficiently to remove the invasive trees, cutting the vines and cleaning up the brush. As they worked, they also identified a few more issues that were hidden behind the brush and notified me. I asked them to take care of it and they did it without issue.

After everything was done, we discussed possible stump grinding. The price quoted was reasonable but they would need to come back out to take care of it because the grinder was in the shop. Matteo came back out and grinded the stumps within the week.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with the level of service and thoughtful approach. This is small, local, family owned business and I will call on them for any future needs. I am happy to recommend them.
