Lawrence and his team at MelFoster did an outstanding job on a whole home renovation / condo conversion. He completed the groundwork and new meter installations, fulling installed new wiring and two electrical panels and all the fuses, outlets, and lighting for more than 20 rooms in total and two full kitchens and all appliances. He was a valued partner on the project, drawing from his experience to offer suggestions on what fixtures would work best and even spotted some issues before they became problems. He interfaced with Pepco and the DCRA inspectors with patience and expertise. I appreciate the guarantee he provides and trust that he will honor his warranty. Though this job was hundreds of hours of work, I would also call on him for smaller tasks as well and look forward to working with him in the future.

Working with MelFoster was great - easy and fast communication, and my technician, Ray, found time over the weekend to install a new porch light. I’ll definitely be coming back to MelFoster for any electrical needs.

Great experience! Coordinating a time was easy and when the technician arrived, he was fast and was easily able to identify the problem and fix it. There was some follow up work that he offered to do later and I wasn’t sure when we would be able to schedule it, and he called right after leaving and offered to go to the hardware store, pick up the part, and complete it right then. All in all, great experience and we will use them again.

Ultra happy with the work we got from MelFoster. My wife and I hired them to move a light sconce. Rodney and Lawrence did fantastic work and were very efficient. They were even able to do the job while making fewer holes in our wall than another electrician estimated. All in all, we couldn't be happier with the end outcome.

Legit business. Had an emergency issue on a weekend when I was hosting people. They came out quick, and while the issue turned out to be something minor they were honest about it. Also, provided some options to prevent the wires getting tripped again. Can’t thank Lawrence enough. Hire these folks!

I had contacted other Electricians and did not get a response! I guess this job was just too small for them. However, when I contacted MelFoster Electric not only did they respond immediately but they sent out Ray within a very short time. Ray was professional, knowledgeable and provided service that was thorough and complete! I am so pleased and would hire this company again in a heartbeat!
