My experience with the DC Contractor was overwhelmingly positive, professional, and responsive. As part of a series of property-wide renovations, I contracted the DC Contractor to install a garbage disposal, engage in carpentry work/construction, repair windows, seal exterior wood furniture, install a new showerhead, patch/repair/paint drywall, remove trees, and other assorted work. The work was done on a timely basis, reasonably budgeted, and I was very satisfied with the work. I will definitely turn to the DC Contractor again in the future.

Preparing to buy or sell a property is always stressful. DC Contractor eliminated all of that stress by being attentive, professional, and present for all important decisions related to property upgrades. He worked seamlessly with my realtor and me in a manner that inspired confidence. That confidence was justified. Because of a focus on details, DC Contractor created what was effectively a completely upgraded property that sold at a price beyond my expectations. I seldom give 5 stars, but it is required this time!

Working with the DC Contractor was a great experience, would highly recommend. We needed to finish our attic into an extra bedroom and office before the holidays; Aaron and his team got the job done on time and on budget. Aaron and his team did an excellent job on several projects across our home - wall papering, painting, staining our deck, fixing several holes in our walls, repairing a door, installing dimmers and other electrical work, and repairing broken stones in our front and back areas. Highly recommend. His team was prompt and efficient and the work went on for about a week and a half with minimal disruptions. Very reasonable price for the quality of work.

Aaron did a wonderful job diagnosing the reason for the water leak in the basement. He came right away to make the changes, then he spent time to explain what I need to check on in the future to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Also, his pricing is very reasonable.

In addition to contracting, Aaron also sells and delivers firewood to the DC area. I've ordered from him twice - very responsive and provided delivery with neatly stacked hardwoods, perfect for the fireplace or an outdoor fire place. Pricing was excellent - much better than buying small bundles from the grocery or hardware store and sells reasonable amounts for easier storage in tight DC neighborhoods.

Aaron delivered beautiful, high-quality wood right to my backyard. Setting up delivery was quick and easy, and Aaron was also kind enough to stack the drop off. I’m thrilled and will reach out to him again. A great source of firewood!

I’ve ordered firewood from Aaron a few times now, and I’m never going back to anyone else. Not only is Aaron willing to cut the firewood to size for my tiny wood stove (which no one else I’ve asked would do), but the firewood comes from DC trees that local arborists donate. Circular economy at its finest! Aaron is also responsive, helps you stack the wood, and is an all around helpful human.
