Love my countertops! Excellent service, hospitality, and materials!

We hired them as a design/build firm. The experience was beyond abominable–including a bid that was ridiculously high, and a 65% markup on changes. Part of the contract (that we never signed) was agreeing to binding arbitration. So when we sought to get back our deposit because we would NEVER use them, they fought us (even though Maryland Law requires a contract before a deposit is accepted) and we went to arbitration. Pelican lost conclusively in arbitration, but rather than pay us (remember BINDING arbitration), they took us to court. They lost decisively there too, but it also cost us a year of our lives and 1000s of dollars.
