Hats off to South Shore Mechanical and their excellent tech Bruno. He performed my bi-annual maintenance visit quickly and efficiently, and even had time to pet my dog. He gave me a full breakdown on the work he had done and was overall a pleasure to deal with.

I have used So.Shore Mechanical for my AC instal in 2 locations and gas heat repair in another. I can not say enough how satisfied I am with quality of workmanship and price. Will and crew are the best.

My dad had them come for an A/C issue, after taking things apart, found that the service switch was simply reversed. Very nice - and even refused payment, as he said he really didn't do anything. Except he did so much - and got the cooling working in the super hot weather. Thank you for treating someone 'older' with respect and honesty. You've found a new customer for when things really are broken.

Very happy with the installation of my Mitsubishi heat pump. I have a low clearance in my attic to work in ( 28"), difficult environment to move around. A job that typically takes 1-1.5 days to install took 4.5 days. All the work was done in a professional manner and best of all the crew did not rush through the job. They did it right.
5 stars on the installation.
I did have South Shore back to work on a totally different issue, my existing basement furnace. The labor charge was fine, but the Markup on the parts was Higher than I thought Reasonable.
It was an old unit, the tech Bruno ended up replacing the control panel and a sensor to insure the system would work 100%.
Bruno was great and the system now works perfect.

Bruno was helpful, friendly and efficient! He identified the problem with my central air, and corrected it with a $25 part. He shared other maintenance suggestions--I will certainly call SS Mechanical again! Very happy that I do not have to fully replace my AC now (even though that day is coming as it is over 20 years old). Highly recommend SSM!

We called South Shore Mechanical because we had no heat. Bruno was very prompt arriving at the scheduled time.He was very polite and knowledgeable. He solved the problem very quickly. It was very cold out and he got my heat back on very quickly. He explained everything to me. Thank you again for coming out so quickly.
