Just want to thank Chris and Modern Heating A/C for the professional and prompt service their workers provided. Was fast and efficient, and his crew was extraordinarily polite. Highly recommended!

Having had a Plumber/Heating Company for near 20 yrs when they apparently went out of business suddenly we had to find someone when the fan died on our furnace. My husband looked online and saw great ratings for Modern Heating and A/C and we liked they were local so we called and heard back within 10 minutes!!
When my husband explained the problem (which happened 3 years ago as well), it's only a 5 yr old system but not a common one and finding the part last time took a long time. This being a Friday, I was prepared for a cold weekend, but they came over right away and checked things out, called us within 2 hours and said they got the part and would be out the next morning, which was a Saturday no less and fix it!
I was so impressed with their professionalism, how quickly they got back to us and coming out of a Saturday, some places could have really jacked up the rates, they didn't!
Happy to say, we have a new go to Company now!

Chris was able to get a tech to my home within 72 hrs, other area companies were saying 2 weeks! The techs quickly figured out the issue and was affordably repaired that day. My central air is cooling off my home again! I will be using Modern from now on for all my heating and cooling repairs.

Although I did not end up using the services of Modern Heating & A/C, I'd like to thank the owner, Chris, for being so responsive and willing to come out on a weekend. We talked about the possible problems my boiler could be having, and possible solutions, and he was willing to see what he could do (unlike some other people I spoke to). AND he answers the phone, and responds to texts! When I look for someone to do home repairs, I read reviews like these, and I can see that this company provides great service. I'm glad to know that they are there if I need them!

Although we did not go with Modern HVAC, we would still give 5 stars. They were incredibly responsive: I called for a quote on a new heating system in the morning, the person showed up by noon & I had a quote by the end of the day. They were also the least expensive quote we got, but the company we ultimately went with offered a slightly better guarantee. Otherwise, we’d be doing business with Modern.

I would recommend this company to anyone who is having issues with your heating or cooling system 100%. Chris is responsive, honest, and flexible with hours when you are in a pinch. I was two days into owning a new home, so money was obviously a concern when my furnace was already giving me problems.* At my request*, every attempt was made to avoid what ended up being the inevitable full furnace replacement (it was just under 30 yrs old). When it was clear I needed the replacement, Modern had my house comfortable to live in again in 3 days (Ask around , that’s amazing turn around especially when winter is around the corner ) and more importantly was fair enough to not rake me over the coals on price especially considering the labor and parts I was already on the hook for - If you are here searching for a fair and honest company that will help you quickly, then you just found it!

I am happy to leave a review for Chris and Modern Heating. The gas company shut the gas off due to a leak so everything had to happen pretty quick given the cold weather.
Chris returned my call very quickly and was able to come by the next day to give me an estimate. Everything was prompt and scheduled quickly and he even offered to drop off space heaters for the Tenant that night, which was greatly appreciated as I live out of town and was not able to make it there.
The installation day went as planned. His crew was professional and efficient and had the new boiler installed and working great in a day. I would highly recommend! Thanks Chris

Chris and his team did an amazing job on a very involved project at my house. They followed up on a hardware problem with a high level of professionalism and really went the extra mile to make absolutely sure my system was up and working. Hiring them was a great experience and would highly recommend their services to anyone in the area with an HVAC need.

Appointment scheduling was easy, we were able to get a time that worked best for us, without having to move our schedule around. Our tech, Rich was knowledgeable, communicated well and returned promptly after going to pick up a part. We have been told previously that our system is complicated, then we are ghosted. Rich shrugged when I apologized in advance for our system and never seemed in over his head. I was very impressed and will be using them moving forwards. Billing and payments were also clear and simple with online payment options.

Chris installed a central air unit that worked awesome at an affordable price.

Charged me 300 dollars for a 180 dollar board and 4 hours labor to install it….
