Richard was great. He returned my call right away and was polite and professional and helpful. He gave me many options and the approximate cost for each. It was easy to make my informed decision and I recommend Elite to everyone.

Elite appliance repaired my refrigerator. They came the same day and diagnosed the problem. They had to order parts. But returned in two days to install the parts. The charges were reasonable and the tecnician was very knowledgeable and professional

Called Elite Appliance Services to schedule an appointment for a dishwasher that wasn't working due to a kitchen remodel. Rich answered my call on a Saturday and had me try something to see if this would fix the problem. He was right. Problem I am having may not be permanently resolved, but I will definitely call him anytime I am in need of a repair. Thanks, Rich for your help.

I called them about my cranky refrigerator. Rich came out the same day, checked it out and came up with the least costly way to properly fix the thing. He ordered the part and came out to finish the job the morning after the new part came in, and the refrigerator now runs as good as a new one. Exactly 0 degrees in the freezer and 40 in the "fresh food" section with the controls set to "factory setting" on the dials.
I highly recommend Elite Appliance Service in Agawam for no-nonsense repair work at a fair price on wayward household appliances. -
Had an old dependable warhorse Whirlpool washer that was failing. We had been through 2 new "high tech" washers which were expensive disappointments. Rich encouraged us to repair the old Whirlpool. He said if this were his machine he would definitely fix it. Well, the repair was not cheap but we are so! happy we took his advice. Our washer works like an old school champ! He was in and out in 2 hours. Over 6 months down the road our washer is working great. This was by far the best solution to our problem. Thanks Rich!

Elite Appliance is great! After struggling with other appliance companies - Elite was able to help and was very responsive and able to accommodate my schedule. They arrived on time, were very knowledgable with my refrigerator and able to fix the issue on the spot.
I referred them to a friend who had a lingering issue with their old dishwasher and they were able to help them as well with great service.
Their price is competative but they offer excellent value and stand by their work and offered to come back if there is a further issue. It was super easy to get a hold of them and schedule, too.
Highly recommend. Appliance repair can be frustrating but getting a professional such as Elite can save a lot of headache as opposed to troubleshooting and calling customer support yourself (cuz I did that!)
Thank you! -
I contacted Elite to repair a 13 year old Kenmore Elite LG refrigerator. They came out the very same day, quickly diagnosed the issue and even had the part (compressor) in the truck. They had it up and running in an hour. Very professional and nice people to work with - would definitely recommend!

Had them repair our dryer. Turned out to be a simple fix with the drum spool but now I know. Lol. Tech was very friendly. Unfortunately I can’t remember his name. Appliance repair isn’t cheap but when your refrigerator cost $2500-$3000 a couple hundred to fix an issue is well worth the cost. Thanks and I will call again if needed.

Elite Appliance repair are top notch repair technicians. They show up on time, assess the issue and get it done. We have use them several times for various appliances over the years BUT never the same applicance twice. They are the best!

Elite Appliance Service came through on a busy visit — dishwasher, washing machine, and freezer all needed attention and they handled everything professionally in one trip. The technician was knowledgeable, diagnosed each issue quickly, and explained what was wrong in plain language without being condescending. All three appliances have been working great since. Only minor complaint is the scheduling window was a bit wide and required some waiting around. Overall a reliable service I'd call again without hesitation.

Very rude and not helpful at all

Dishwasher wasn't installed correctly. Phone calls to the principal to correct it go unanswered!

I've never written a review so here goes it.
OVER PRICED!! Was there 15 min and charged me $154 for that NOT including the $$ for the part. Now I know it costs to go between jobs so I get that, but $89 to show up and then ANOTHER $65 install for a 15 min call. He had already charged the part to my credit card so I was stuck. Also he charges 5% for the credit card. Like he's not making money on the part from me?! Please I was a bookkeeper for a mechanic I know how it works. I learned what to ask before someone comes if a repair is done do you waive service fee. Many do. -
I have a LG washer bought at 2011. Recently it has had problems with circuit overloan sign and loud motor vibration sound. Called to LG customer service and they asked me to call to elite appliance for service. The washer has 10 year motor warranty so I assumed to be covered in case it's motor problem.
The person who answered phone at elite appliance told that diagnosis fee would be $129 and parts and labor will be additional which is very common for appliances service call. Since the washer is already 6 years old, I'm at the position to buy new one if it costs more than $300. I asked the person normally how much do they charge for labor per hour and she said it goes by the job not the hour which also understandable. I explained my situation but unpleasantly she said she doesn't know and normally it costs more than $250. Well all conversation was real rude and I could feel she was annoyed. So I said ok thank you and SHE JUST HUNG UP NOT EVEN SAY BYE. -
I purchased a Magic Chef washer through Best Buy end of April 2016. It started leaking 2 weeks ago. Best Buy and Magic Chef sent these guys as the technician. He came over, was here 15 minutes maybe, said he couldn't duplicate the problem (even though I said he was testing it without a load of laundry and that the leak was during the last cycle at the final dump out). I was told maybe I over loaded the machine or put in too much soap in. So I tried again only putting 1/2 the amount I normally do and I left the machine hooked up by him and did a load (since it took over a week for them to come out) and first use it AGAIN leaked all over my floor. I called multiple times that day only to be told the tech was out on calls. Finally got ahold of him around 6pm where I was given an attitude and told he had to talk to Magic Chef and would get back to me. 6 days later still nothing. I finally called Elite Appliances and was told they referred the case to Magic Chef and they were supposed to get ahold of me. When I asked why they didn't call to tell me that Magic Chef was taking over the woman who answer stated they assumed Magic Chef would call and that "sorry, you know what happens when you assume?" Yes I do it makes an ASS outta YOU and apparently me for trusting that a company would keep their clients informed. Oh, but it gets better..... I called Magic Chef to follow up and was told they were working on another tech to come out and check my washer. When asked why I needed another tech when it took over a week to get Elite Appliances out I was told, "the company we sent now refuses to continue service on your machine." Seriously, Elite Appliances refused to service my machine. Is it because they couldn't figure it out? Or because I called to actually get the service I originally requested? I don't know, they did not tell me. Just that they "refused". So now I'm again without a washer waiting because these guys could or wouldn't (I'm not sure honestly) finish the job they were contracted to do. This company's customer service is atrocious. The woman answering the phone never knows anything, the techs don't want to do their jobs and it takes forever to get service to begin with. I don't write reviews but after over 2 weeks without a washer this is the worst customer service and people should know it!!!

Elite Appliance LIED to the appliance company that they fixed my dishwasher and confirmed it is working. It is not and I have now missed my warranty window.
Elite Appliance was scheduled to repair my LG dishwasher. Upon arrival to repair the previously diagnosed issue, they found they had received the replacement part from LG in an unusable condition. They replaced something else on my dishwasher, but not the part they originally diagnosed as causing the issue.
Because the original issue was still not fixed, I called the company and left numerous voicemails to schedule a next appointment to fix he actual problem. They have never responded to date. After 3 months, I still have not reinstalled the broken dishwasher.
I am back in touch with LG and have been advised they submitted a repair report stating they FIXED the diagnosed issue and confirmed the appliance is functional. The dishwasher was never reinstalled or had the power reconnected, hence making it physically impossible for them to provide confirmation that they left the appliance in working order.
