Replaced my water heater this morning and did a very nice job. They answered my call and offered me the fair price.Very reliable professional and I will certainly come back to them and recommend them to my friends in the future

Had a wax seal replaced by them a few weeks ago. Woke up and toilet was leaking around the edge and called them. They were there that morning and we're reasonably priced.
-
Came out right away and was professional and the pricing was better than others in the area who were telling me I needed to wait 1 to 2 weeks to even book an appointment. Definately recommend especially in an urgent situation! Glad I found them and would use them again!

I had a phenomenal experience with Crescent Plumbing & Drain. I had a water heater in Medford that needed to be replaced immediately. My home warranty company assigned it to Crescent. Their rates were the most competitive that I saw (as I also did my own research for competitive rates). They were available two days later but when I told them it was urgent, they squeezed me in the next morning at 7 am and completed the job the same day. I had a great experience. Elizabeth did a great job communicating with me and keeping me updated. She was very patient and generous with her time and addressed all my questions and concerns. Ken did the work, and while he was replacing the heater, he noticed some other work that required follow up soon and was kind enough to point it out and take pictures for my awareness. I’m grateful to have worked with this company and would definitely use them again. I highly recommend.

Extremely rude. Needed a vanity replaced and as soon as I mentioned considering keeping the current faucet, they were ready to hang up saying "Not interested".

Called to get pricing for gas dryer hookup. Asked them about pricing, they gave a general estimate. I asked if that includes any small parts that may be needed, the office lady got frustrated and gave to the plumber. I asked the plumber how do you do the pricing he thought I am trying to learn plumbing from him, told me need a class/apprenticeship for that. I corrected him saying no I am asking about how much and he thinks now I am trying to learn about pricing and says you got to take a business class for this. Am like why you all getting upset here, This is ridiculous! I am like I am all set, bye. He is like Why don't you call winters.
So disrespectful! -
one star is too many for these guys. Very impolite very unprofessional. They came to our place and we asked them politely to put on shoe covers that we provided and they just left right away. Then I call the company and I describe the situation for the person on the phone, again very politely, and she hung up the phone on me. I am pretty sure their service as crappy as their behavior. Glad they left without making any further mess. Good luck some where else. You won't have my business EVER.

My elderly mother called them to check her furnace and air conditioner because she had water on the floor in the basement two times, in the winter when the heat was on and in the summer when the air conditioner was on. The winter technician told her that she needed to jackhammer up the concrete floor because she needed to “see where the water was coming from!” My husband found 2-3 feet of drain tube laid up alongside the house, which obviously froze and blocked the line from draining properly. If the technician had looked outside, he or she would have immediately figured out that the line needed to be shortened in order to negate the freezing of the drain line.
The summer technician came to replace the pump, but never returned the condensation tube for the air conditioner back into the pump. These are supposed to be experienced HVAC technicians?! And I am sure that they charged her an exorbitant amount for a less than 2 minute fix, both times. They are terrible and took advantage of a senior. -
Assigned to a home warranty case to fix my water heater but claimed they had not received any paperwork. Then started insulting me over the phone. Typical lowlife contractors. They are also NOT open 24 hours, at 4:30pn on a weekday they claimed they were closed. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

We needed some service on our central a/c unit. Crescent was the installer before we purchased our home, according to the sticker on the unit. We set up an appointment for 9 am, to be first on a business day when my husband had to go to the office. The tech was over an hour late. When I called the office to check that we were indeed scheduled for 9 am that day, I was told "he's on his way." The tech shortly arrived in flip flops, carrying a large iced coffee, no apologies for being late. Long story short, she never provided us with an estimate for the work she said we needed. When we wrote the check she said to make it payable to her, as it was "Crescent, but not Crescent." So we paid over $200 for zero information on the problem with our a/c system. I can't remember if I called the office to ask about it but I probably gave up.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!
I had my boiler replaced by this company, and the experience has been beyond frustrating. Here’s what happened:
1. The plumber who came to do the work tried to pressure me into agreeing to unnecessary additional work outside of the company for a “discount.” Completely unprofessional.
2. When I contacted the company to ask when the work and inspections would be completed, they told me they didn’t even know I wanted inspections done! This delayed everything and only got resolved after the City of Malden was ready to intervene to ensure the required inspections were scheduled.
But the worst part?
I now have NO heat in my bedroom (the farthest radiators from the boiler):
• The plumber suggested replacing all air vents—I did. No improvement.
• I was then told to close all the air vents except for the ones in the bedroom—still no improvement.
• Next, I was instructed to remove the vent from the bedroom radiator, which resulted in water gushing out of the vent hole.
• Finally, I was told to ensure the radiator was leaning back toward the wall—it already was.
When I asked why I didn’t at least have the same heat distribution as before the boiler replacement, the plumber told me I was being “ridiculous,” said it wasn’t their problem, and hung up on me.
I paid $16,000 for this project, and now I’m stuck using a space heater in my bedroom. Worse, I can’t call anyone else to work on the boiler until spring.
Avoid this company at all costs if you expect professionalism, follow-through, or basic respect. I am actively seeking legal advice and would strongly recommend finding someone else for your boiler or heating needs. This was a total disaster.
