Really great company! I called them at 7:30pm to report that my fridge wasn't working, and they had a technician out by noon the very next day! (Sears Maytag repair wanted me to wait over a week!)

Super friendly too! I would definitely use this company again and recomend them to anyone looking for local appliance repair!

You can't go wrong with Bergerons! Really! I called at 1:30. Chip was here at 3:30 and my dryer was purring again at 4:30. I was literally on my way to Sears to by a new dryer when my neighbor suggested I call Norm. I'm so glad I did! Saved me hundreds! THANK YOU!

I have a 2 month old Maytag that will not spin the clothes dry and when I called Maytag they said they can't get out for over a week. They only have 2 techs in the area. So I called Bergerons to see if they can work on Maytag warranty items which they can not however they still took the time to try and troubleshoot the issue over the phone with me. He could have very easily ended the conversation when he first called to let me know he couldn't work on the Maytag because it was still under warranty but he still took the time to try and fix the issue! Very impressed with what he tried to do. Will definitely call them back if I have issues after the warranty expires. On the other hand not at all happy with Maytag.

Prompt return call, and able to come out same day. Very thorough. Took the time to explain potential issues, and fixes. Upfront about cost/billing. Took extra time to discuss ways to better utilize our appliances. Very kind and professional.

Norm from Bergeron's Appliance has repaired several of our appliances over the years, coming soon after our calls and solving every problem we've had in a professional, totally competent manner and at a reasonable cost. I think he's a bargain. But I had to write in because we were having an emergency dryer problem and had to leave shortly. Norm, instead of coming down, thought he could solve the problem with us over the phone to expedite the repair. He directed my wife and me to do 3 simple things to overcome a failure to start the dryer - something we could never have thought of doing. He lost out on a service call fee. We got our dryer repaired for free, tapping his knowledge. What a great, ethical, and special service man! I'd recommend him without hesitation to all of my friends and family. Wish more Americans had his work ethic and generosity.

Our gas range stopped working and Dana (new owner) came out same day and had it repaired within 3 hours of my calling. His service was excellent, and he took the time to explain the problem to us so we knew what was going on. His rates are reasonable, and he's very knowledgable! We couldn't be happier, and high recommend Bergeron Appliance!

To think I was going to buy pass this appliance repair service because of a couple of negative reviews. Thanks to an honest person who suggested that I give Dana a chance. I thank him a thousand times. Although my issue was minor, I had no knowledge of that. Dana was very well knowledgeable & professional. He also explained things to me. I thought his price to come out was reasonable as well. While I hope I won't need your services anymore Dana but if I should Bergeron/ Dana is at the very top of my list. Thank you again Dana, Carolyn

    Sturbridge MA.

The owner, Norm Bergeron, not only came out the day I called (the other four places couldn't make it out for four to five days), he went outside of his normal service area to address our broken washing machine. He diagnosed and fixed the washing machine on the first pass, and then proceeded to fix our dish washer (which had been acting up recently). Issues were fixed fast, the rates were very reasonable, and Norm was a pleasure to deal with. We will be use Norm in the future should we have more issues. Highly recommended.

They never responded to my request

Overpriced and did not honor agreement. Would never use again. Spend hundreds of dollars and we finally replaced the part ourselfs for a fraction of the price.

He needs a new gas leak detector tool. He said his tool was better than mine and his noses put together. Well he was very wrong!! My 80 year old roommate and I and my 13 month old grandson may have never woke up if my nose wasn't telling me there's a gas leak. So I had to have stove pulled out which I couldn't do myself, to shut the gas valve off. Another repairman came out later that night and has a very new updated gas leak detector and there was 100% a gas leak. So. Me, personally, that repairman will never be allowed in our home again!

BEWARE... Norm Bergeron has retired. The person who is either running or purchased the business is ruining a good man's name. Dana returned my call, I had the model # of the appliance written down (Norm always asked). I explained I had a dishwasher with a leak; I had already taken the panel off and explained the general area the leak was coming from. Dana explained that he charged $79.95 (service call?) to look at the job and determine what needed to be done. He then asked if I was familiar with the pricing system.
Dana explained he uses a "book that is fairly standard in the industry" that estimates how long it "typically" takes by THE PART to complete a task. (He almost always comes in under)

I did not expect him to give me a quote on something he had not seen. However asking an hourly rate is a reasonable question. He reached a point at which he was screaming; the repair is based on how long "the book estimates" the repair will take.
On the off chance he exceeds the time allotted by "the book" he would charge for that time. How was that price determined? Hourly?
I couldn't take going around in circles and continually being told that I was making too much out of this.
After asking for the 5th time how much his hourly rate was so I could estimate on my end "worst case" to make sure I had enough money to cover the cost.

My friend had been sitting next to me listening to my end of the conversation. I gave up and handed the phone to her. They went in circles for another 5 minutes. She was told he has never worked on a dishwasher for less than 4 hrs. Finally an hourly rate of about $100/hr was given.
I had walked out of the room while she was speaking with him, when I returned I asked to end the call.
