Great service and response time! Techs were very nice, thorough and clean.

Under 24 hours from leaking water heater to new one installed, thanks to SDH, who was recommended by my regular plumber. Scheduling was easy, and they did the work impressively quickly and with care. Techs were very professional.

When our water heater unexpectedly failed, SDH was at our doorstep the next morning. They were not only efficient with the installation but also incredibly understanding and supportive during a stressful time in my life. I needed their attention again after cleaning out the flue, and they were more than happy to come out for a second time to make sure we had our hot water! I'm deeply grateful to the entire team for their professionalism along with so much kindness and understanding. I would highly recommend their services!!

S.D.H. Plumbing has always been incredibly reliable with exceptional service every single time. Zack & DJ were patient, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable with what they were doing-replacing a sink disposal same day, and returning to install another hot water system 2 days later as scheduled. They will always be my first call for ANY plumbing issue.

SDH plumbing & heating is awesome. I called my friend Bailey, who is a master plumber and asked him who he recommends to clean a clogged drain. Bailey told me the company he works for which is SDH plumbing and heating has a drain division and recommend I call to set up an appointment so I called SDH Plumbing And set up an appointment and within a couple hours they sent out their drain technician named Matt and within an hour time, Matt had the drain cleaned and flushed out completely and running like brand new. He addressed all of our questions and was able to get everything fixed same day. We would recommend them anytime and plan to use them without hesitation in the future.

I have had the pleasure of using SDH Plumbing & Heating on a number of much needed occasions. They did a very large job for me, replacing my entire very old & inefficient heating system with a brand new system that is outstanding. Amazing service! Will definitely use again. I called at 4 pm on a Friday. Lisa tried to help me solve the problem over the phone. When we couldn't resolve the issues she sent someone over in less than 20 min. Problem solved. Emergency service charges were also much more reasonable than other companies.

S.D.H. does great work. Very knowledgeable and thorough. We had our HVAC serviced and the technician explained his process beginning to end. We went back again for a drain replacement. Pricing is also reasonable. Highly recommend!

I called S.D.H plumbing after hours for a serious leak in my 94 year old mother’s house. They understood the urgency and were very accommodating. They showed up as soon as they could and addressed the problem efficiently. The plumber was very professional and explained what he did and also pointed out that we may need more work in the future.
Very happy with their service and will definitely use them again.

The old radiator in our 1850's historic house cracked. S.D.H advised us that, although they could replace it with a modern radiator, it really would be better to replace it with an exact historic copy so that the existing plumbing would not have to be altered. They referred us to Radical Radiators in Malden who did have an exact copy which we purchased and loaded in our car. Then S.D.H. worked with us to remove the monster radiator (325 lbs) from our car, and also remove the cracked radiator from our house. They then installed the new radiator, along with a new valve. It was heavy lifting, to say the least. They were professional, effective, responsive, and clean. Lisa Brown, the office manager, is especially responsive and informative. I also like that they employ apprentices from Minuteman High School, training a new generation of plumbers. I would recommend them without reservation.

My experience with customer service in general is bad. So, to find a company and a person, Zach, that has real customer service is like gold. Seriously!

If you are in need of Plumbing or Heating done right and with integrity I highly recommend SDH Plumbing & Heating. When my home had a loss of heat during winter while my family was home and I was out of town I looked for someone to get it repaired quickly without any shenanigans. As a prior heating and cooling technician, I knew I would easily discern if anyone was attempting to upsell me on a new system or an unnecessary repair after walking through the boiler repair diagnosis with my son over video chat. I initially called the sticker number on the boiler for the company who had installed it. They had gotten out of the boiler repair business, but highly recommended SDH Plumbing & Heating for their integrity. I then spoke with Lisa at SDH Plumbing & Heating who quickly scheduled Dave the technician to come out same day after told I told her it was suffering a loss of heat during the winter. She proceeded to seek out the brand and model number of the heating system from me. She took the the time to run through a basic homeowner diagnosis to ensure it was not something simple like no power to the unit (due to say the emergency power switch being off) to save a trip and me money. She then sought to determine if it was a natural gas/exhausting issue or a water piping issue to the boiler to see if Dave could bring the most likely needed parts with him to again save time and money. I explained how I believed it was a gas exhausting issue. (knowing in my mind from the quick diagnosis with my son it was either a vacuum pressure switch or the blower motor assembly issue.) Dave the technician was there in a few hours and quickly determined it was not the pressure switch, but the blower motor assembly had failed, and refreshingly did not attempt to upsell my wife a new heating system. Since it was late in the day and the supply houses were closed, Sam the owner of SDH plumbing & heating personally called to tell me me that even though my unit was no longer being manufactured he was going to try hard to get the part first thing in the morning. Next day Sam found the part and Dave was back in our house installing it that afternoon. From conversations with my wife, Dave was methodical and paid attention to detail when dissembling the system on our basement floor, installing the part, and then reassembling the system back together. The system ran great and problem was solved. When I had a concern with the material costs on the bill, Lisa took the time to explain it, and address my concern. How great it is to find a Plumbing and Heating company that cares about their customer and their trade reputation. A company who seriously values a long term relationship with a customer and gaining repeat business rather than chasing unwarranted profits by taking advantage of unknowledgeable homeowners.

Kevin was fantastic! Patiently helped me solve a mystery of water stains on my basement floor. The whole team is very professional. Always a 5 star experience!

VERY pleased with the crews and work done: Greg was an expert I needed for replacing the old AC compressor and entire heating system. And Bailey was the expert for converting the hot water supply from a traditional tank to a tankless. They were professional, knowledgeable and even clean up by vacuuming at the end of the work days.

SDH just installed central air and heat with an on demand water heater in my house and we could not be happier with the outcome. Everything from the initial walk through, consultation and design was nothing but professional. The workers were extremely polite and accommodating to our pets. The work was very neat and clean and the price was very competitive. I would highly recommend SDH for all your HVAC and plumbing needs.
