I was looking for a single-owner electrician to install a transfer switch for my new portable generator, and reached out to three different companies. Scott responded the quickest, and I specifically preferred working with an owner-operated business rather than a larger company where you’re unsure who will show up.

Scott and his son were excellent to work with. They were extremely meticulous, taking the time to properly prep the area with drop cloths and keep everything clean. The quality of the electrical work was top-notch, and everything performed exactly as it should when we lost power and tested the system.

I would highly recommend Scott for any electrical needs and would gladly work with him again in the future.

I Needed work for my electric meter to be replaced. Scott was great. He came to my house to discuss the work needing to be done and explained what was going to be required to complete the project. He worked around my busy schedule to complete the project. Extremely happy with the professionalism and communication during this process. Highly recommend Scott.

Scott was very responsive and was at my house the very next day to take a look at the issues I was having. He was very knowledgeable and professional so he was able to figure out what was wrong and have it fixed very quickly. Scott did the electrical work for a remodel project. He was very conscientious and extremely neat. He took the time to explain all the steps involved before he made a single cut in our ceiling. I would highly recommend him and in fact plan on calling him myself for any future electrical work we may choose to do.

Scott could not have been more helpful, honest about time and price of the job, and even offered insight regarding other projects I have going (carpentry, etc). His knowledge of his trade placed me at ease right away. I would rehire him to fix, replace or place new wiring in construction again. Glad I found an honest hard worker.

Scott is wonderful! He called me back right away and came out that night to look at the smoke detectors to figure out what the issue was and why they just kept randomly going off! He gave us a very reasonable price and came first thing the next morning to replace all of the detectors and install heat sensors in the garage. Just fantastic!

Scott came to my home to do walkway lighting. He did a great job and was very reasonable. I was very pleased with the work that was done. He helped me figure out what lights to get and got them for me as well. He was very professional. I would definitely recommend him and would use him in the future.

After reaching out to Scott, he returned my call and came out the same day. He was very thorough in telling me what was going to be needed to be done and he was back a couple days later to do the job. He was very professional, informative and clean. We were very happy with the result and will be reaching out to him very shortly for some more work we need done. I will gladly recommend him to anyone looking to have electrical work done.

We had a long list of electrical to-dos after buying our new house including adding recessed lighting to nearly every room, installing a new panel, upgrading the service to 200A, and adding a variety of receptacles and switches. Scott's bid came in at nearly half of what a larger company bid with their "a la cart" pricing system. Scott was thorough, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and a hard worker.

He really set himself apart in the bid phase by being the only electrician to think of potential issues that we might run into (i.e. strapping between joists in the ceiling impeding wires and ductwork). He's also a general contractor, so you get that bonus depth of knowledge with Scott. I highly recommend him.

My parents had an electrical issue where a portion of the electricity in the house was not working. Scott was great. He called me back the same day and came out first thing the next morning. He was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem and fix it for a reasonable price. I appreciate that he was honest and didn’t try to oversell us unnecessary work. We will definitely call Scott again.

I texted Scott to send a quote to install 240 volts Nema 14-50 outlet for Tesla in garage. Scott visited my home and checked the existing panels and indicated that needs a rebalance the load by moving one plug to other panel.

He came again in a week and installed the outlet.
He is great and is very professional, the price was reasonable that included material+labor+permit/inspection and moving one plug to other panel.

Scott did work updating my 1949 home. He was such a pleasure to work with. Scott is great at communicating prior to the job, explaining what he is doing/has done to someone who has no idea what most of the terms mean, shows up when he says he will, and cleans up after himself. Scott did a fantastic job on our electrical service for our home. Scott met with the electrical inspector inspector prior to doing the job. To make sure he could get my older home to conform to current code. He communicated with us every step of the process. His installation was neat and tidy. Scott and his employees cleaned up the work area better than it was when they arrived. Highly professional and honest business man. I would recommend Scott again.

Great experience working with Scott. He is very knowledgable of the building codes and requirements for electrical boxes and safety. He helped me solve a tripping breaker issue I was having with a new appliance. Scott will be my go to for future electrical needs.

It has been a great pleasure working with Scott. We were able to easily contact him, set a scheduled time for him to estimate work scope at our home, set a scheduled day/time for performance of the work. Always communicating if any of the timings changed. Scott provided job quote within 24 hours after visiting the job site.
We asked Scott to install a duplex outlet on our basement foundation wall which required installing EMT conduit down the wall; running 12/2 electrical wire to the panel and installing a 20-amp arc/fault-ground/fault breaker in the panel to protect the new outlet and circuit.
The work was completed withing the time expected, for the initial quoted amount. The execution of the work was professional, skillful, and efficient. I highly recommend Scott.

Scott Haynes Electrician does excellent work. He replaced baseboard heaters in my older home, which had some outdated wiring that wasn’t up to code. Scott identified the issues, fixed everything properly, and installed updated heaters. He was professional, thorough, and made sure the job was done the right way. I trust his work and will definitely use Scott Haynes Electrical for all future electrical needs.

Drivers for the company text while driving in traffic, check their phones, and turn left out of parking lots into traffic where it's not legal to. Not the best look for a business. Would have taken a picture of it all but it's unsafe to use a phone driving as we all know well.
