Excellent work throuhout the house - I'm especially grateful Jim recommended wall insulation. What a difference with heat and cooling!

We totally recommend Lockwood construction. They did a huge renovation project (9 months) and handled everything from steel beams to molding with care and craftsmanship. Jim is always thinking of ways to improve the project.

Lockwood construction is everything you could want for a remodeling project and more. They did an amazing job remodeling my condo, everything from design to completion. Professional, knowledgable, experienced, communicative, creative, timely, responsive, patient, and the finished product speaks for itself. Highly recommend!

Jim did major work on our single family with complete renovation of the basement into a separate apartment to rent out and replacement of the heating system. He was very professional, responsive and honest and I highly recommend his work and his team to anybody thinking about a major renovation.

I have used Lockwood Construction for 2 significant projects that included complete, gut-rehab scope and the experience has been best in class. Jim (Lockwood) has everything one would want in a contractor: transparency, integrity and punctuality. He also offers something above and beyond expectations: creative and thoughtful input into design (he went to RISD) and environmental/efficiency measures. These guys are amazing! We had the best experience working with them on a Hyatt Hotel in the down town area. They were very communicative and went the extra mile to track down hard to find materials and information needed to get the job done. They completed on time and on budget. Jim and his team are fantastic! They did a major project for us -- an addition on our single family home in JP. He is a pleasure to work with -- he has great vision and is a true partner in making homes feel perfect. We started out with a plan and he made smart suggestions along the way that we could not imagine living without. Also he is communicative and a joy to work with. We recommend Jim without hesitation!

Highly recommend Lockwood Construction. They recently repaired a basement wall that had water damage, it looks great and will stay dry with vent holes Jim put in. They built a rear addition including new bathroom which involved hoisting all materials over the roof since my unit is an attached townhouse; the space is beautiful now as it was when built 15 years ago.

We worked with Jim to do a comprehensive efficiency upgrade to our Brookline house, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our 100-year-old house is now comfortable and draft-free, and our heating bills have dropped significantly. The work involved a lot of careful interior surgery, paint color matching, etc, and when Jim's crew was done, you couldn't tell anything had been touched - his craft and attention to detail was first-class. We recommend Jim without hesitation - we are totally satisfied with the work he did for us.

Jim Lockwood and team planned and executed a gorgeous redesign of our back patio, along with our kitchen and a number of interior updates. We couldn't be happier with the results.

We recommend LLC 100%. Jim Lockwood has taken total control of a huge project, gutting and renovating a 2 storied space for our Woman's Health Club in Brookline. From day one Jim has been hard at work with his crew on this massive undertaking and has applied his many years of experience to making my vision for this space a reality. Through every step of this process Jim has been highly detail orientated and worked hand in hand with me in making even the most minor of decisions to bring this new club to life.

Jim has helped with three projects now. Big or small he comes through with fast, extremely high quality work. This last one he and his team replaced our entire 100yr old slate roof (with new slate he sourced from the same quarry as the original), repointed the chimneys, all new sub roof, rubber roofs, copper work, new gutters, painting and stucco repairs. His esthetics are meticulous and thoughtful. He thinks about the budget, the history of the property and the client. He is easy to work with, clear, straight forward and professional. He gets the best tradesmen/women. He is worth every penny and he backs up his work.
The two previous projects were an emergency to address a leaking bathroom on a tight budget and insulation of our whole house. Super helpful, great work. Absolutely 5 stars.
